It does not work when I press the key to change to SETA
when I am sitting in the navigation's chair or gunnery's chair or yet
when I am sitting in the captain's chair but I am docked.
But when I open the Map though, it does work.
If you need my input settings to test, here it is.

Working as intended, I believe. SETA cannot be initiated when docked, when standing on a station, or any time you're not physically controlling the ship. It will, however, continue to work if you subsequently open the map. SETA was designed to help players with slow ships get from point A to point B quicker, nothing more. If you want to speed up your universe for other reasons, you'll just have to get in your ship and undock.

But...
- First dock at a station
- Use the menu to activate SETA (it works)
- Press the SETA shortcut (nothing happens)
- Open the map and press the SETA shortcut (it works)

It's because SETA isn't even disabled in the menu like the other options and when you mouse over it shows the tooltip for the shortcut. It's the same thing for when you use in the other chairs.

So, I don't really see the problem. In and out of map mode, docked or undocked, etc., many keys have different functions. I think this is just how Egosoft designed it. Perhaps one of the devs will verify it.

Yes... and no. There are some inconsistencies in the handling of SETA activation and deactivation which we'd like to iron out. Whether or not we can iron out the specific ones described here is something we'll be looking into.
