[Solved] [6.20] Avarice Protectyon Plot not available

Hi,
I am having problems to start/resume the Avarice Protectyon plot. I may have missed the initial Teladi distress call when first entering Avarice quite a while ago. Since then there is not trace of this quest at all. I have thoroughly searched Avarice and its stations, but there is neither the Teladi freighter nor any Teladi NPC to be found.
Have I missed the opportunity to do it at all? Or did I just not search enough?

I am playing on Linux, X4 v6.20, no mods. Young Gun start.

Update 2024-02-20: After finishing the Terran Spec Ops plot I could finally find the stranded Teladi Dagobas in Avarice and can now play the Avarice plot. But he was definitely not there before that...
