It seems you really don't get it. It's not really the action itself to remove npcs from the game... it's rather the mod title that renders the entire thing racist. Or would u call it "diverse" and "just" to remove all africans? :D
Original mod was called Space Diversity.
Mod creator outright said that Egosoft models looked like gorrilas not humans and i agree. Only thing racist here is portrayal of black people in game like some kind of homo Neanderthals.
He didn't even remove them just made sure that they were about 20% of population instead of something 90% which is default X4 script for some reason and removed the worst cases like mentioned dreadlocks models which were accompanied with face features neanderthals would be proud off.

Imho i agree with this version. If Ego can't make human models that don't look like caricatures then they should remove them period.

I'm starting to think that vanilla game problem lies not in the color of the skin, but poor selection of clothes and hair - most of human NPC, regardless of skin, looks like hobos.

Here I found a black NPC trader with stylish suit and not half-bad hair:

If the idea was to remove all white NPCs then most of you would be speaking about how honorable this mod is. Just relax.

How can one be for Diversity when you have to like everything equally? reading this comment section one can see why this mod and mod "Name" is greatly needed in this society ^.^ (suggestion only .. start banning sjw's)

Thankyou for this mod. Now I can remove the dreadlocks from my Colossus. It's a pitty that I will lose an ethnicity from the game, but those dreadlocks have to go.

in the name of the Patriarchy, all Argon must die. Split fully support the Diversity and Justice movement, which has already eliminated 50% of Argon personnel

Does this mod work with COH? I noticed that half the Terrans seem to be of African ancestry, even though today', Africa's population is equivalent to only 16.72% of the total world population. It's also not in line with previous x titles and Sci-Fi predictions about an Asian-dominated future or more mixed-race people.

Gotta be honest...the afros bother me to no end, on any NPC..like....why, why does the terran rep have a huge afro lol...i used to hate all the argons for the dreadlocks, hoodies and doo rags, now I hate the terrans with the afros and skirts. Love the yaki though...

i took a look at the file character macro file from COH and it seems that female characters are limited to 3 hair styles Caucasians and Asians share the same 3 styles but they also have each in like 6 colors. African females on the other hand have 3 completely separate styles with no color options. however someone apparently added the black version of 2 of the other styles to the African female but they got commented out for some reason. for males Asian and Caucasian get 1 style in 4 colors and African males get 2 styles in 1 color. also looking at that file the game has face morphs and shit so why are there so many clones like every other black dude looks like my terran wing man.

The Afros need a haircut for sure. They all look like a 1970's soul train show. Don't get me wrong I respect that Egosoft has tried to put as much diversity in the game as possible but their model choices for NPC's are pretty bad sometime. I liked the Split models better before they changed them all to ghouls too. And what's up with that Neandrethal lookin dude. And I saw a guy in body armor on one of my stations walking around with a machine gun. I assume he was a marine but he went down the transport room before I could catch him to see.

I don't mind black people, but in my game there are too many. All the faction representatives of Terran Protectorate, Segaris Pioneers and Yaki are black women with afro haircuts. The haircuts are atrocious to begin with, but the fact that they are so incredibly common makes it worse. It also feels like there are hardly any Asians but way too many blacks.

All the hairstyles always left more to be desired since release TBH. The station walking is great but the 3D character models could use improvement. I do agree as in the show The Expanse when I read the books then watched the show I expected tall lanky Asian/Oriental folks for the most part. The most annoying character in the books and the show Naomi also got a race/body change. It's just weird seeing belters like Marcos and the background ones being short and stocky. The same thing sort of happens with Split and some of the others. Oh well. It's not a huge deal these days as I have to ignore many things these days as I never expect things to be just right especially anything with lore or book-based material.

Mod probably won't change Terrans, at the time of release every ethnicity had their own face model and texture. Since then, new face models with blend shapes and dynamic textures have been added, which enables more varied skin tones and head shapes. So all terran NPCs use a single female head model or a single male head model.

I assume Egosoft wanted to make a clean 33%/33%/33% split, if only to maximize model diversity and avoid clones as much as possible, but since they made a separate macro for black people to use their own hairstyles their numbers got jumbled and it resulted in a 25%/25%/50% split. (Also, maybe you don't see Asian terrans as often because they're in the same macro as white terrans, so what you usually see is a white/Asian mix).

Personally I don't mind the 70s fro, though its prevalence could be toned down I guess. Who knows, maybe it'll be back in fashion in a few centuries :v

This seems to be the best explanation. I don't want to remove any race, I like the diversity. However 25%/25%/50% is wrong anyway you look at it.
