I just uploaded a new version with many changes.

I also added argon Quad Pulse Laser Cutter:

Hi, I think the 1.1.7 version on Nexus is not good because it is only 1.8MB instead of 4MB. I'm also trying to translate it into French and I see that there is only the
- Large / Medium Plasma Artillery
- Intimidator
- Rapid Plasma Cannon
- 280mm Autocannon

The file size is OK, the mod is not very large and it is compressed.
But what do you mean there are just these 4 weapons? Are you talking about the text file? The weapons in game? Keep in mind that not each race/faction has all weapons available.

I will (hopefully) soon upload the new version with terran weapons.

  • added terran S weapon Impulse Gatling Cannon
  • added terran M weapon Impulse Blaster
  • added terran M turret Tachyon Blaster
  • added terran L weapon Tachyon Cannon
  • added terran L turret Multiphase Cannon
  • fixed some text bugs
  • changed sound for proton autocannon weapon
  • improved visuals for proton autocannon bullet
  • reduced DPS of rapid plasma weapons
  • increased medium plasma artillery price
  • adjusted margins of some weapons (they should be closer to 400% now)

I really want to use this too ad more weaoon variety to my game but I do not run VRO so is it still worth picking up if I am playing Vanilla?

It will definitely bring some overpowered turrets into your game. However, the AI also uses these, so it is not a "I win" button. But for example ranges of all of the weapons from this pack are higher than most weapons from vanilla. They also cost more but still, I would say they are a bit overpowered.
But I have no real vanilla game experience with this mod, so you better try it out yourself and make a save before maybe?

This is a great weapon mod pack but as someone who plays with a headset all the time I had to go in and edit the sound files as they were blowing my ears out especially the Intimidator.

Been using it since 3.30, now on 4.10. I didn't have any issues.

Hi I'm playing a vro game, I have a couple of questions:

1-can I install this in an ongoing vro game?
2-If I install in an ongoing game, will the ai also equip the new weapons?

Edit: I installed the mod in ongoing game where paranoid were united and became one. It seems that only them don't get the weapons in this pack

VRO + WP: Which weapon towers for stations OOS that do not fail IS?

Hi,

I use the WP together with VRO (who doesn't?)... I already inquired there with the following text, but maybe someone here can answer me?

For Vanilla, my last playthrough always said "Plasma is best for OOS" - how is that CURRENTLY with VRO+WP? I would like to have the best compromise between OOS and IS, because sometimes you want to be part of an attack :-) So OOS it should work reliably, but not fail with IS....

I would also appreciate a hint on HOW MUCH of it you need so that the station can survive a Xenon attack with e.g. 1I and 2K without any problems. And where is the best place to put the stuff? As a ring around the station? Also above and below? Or is one side enough? And do I really need to use the defence elements or is it enough to equip the other modules? Questions upon questions... :-)

I need the best weapon towers for the following scenarios:

1. headquarters (may be slightly overpowered, OOS+IS)
2. some station (especially OOS)
3. defence station at a gate to the Xenon (OOS+IS)
4. merchant ships (especially OOS)
5. patrol ships (mainly OOS)

Hello,

I am using mod together with VRO. Artillery (L and M) from my pov is too fast (it should be the slowest bullet in game) eg. 2000m/s or 1500m/s. or even less.
At my game I just equipt all ships with L/M artillery and this configuration is killing everything. Same for AI. It is hard to dodge those bullets.
