any pointers where to look if one wants to extract available information on everything in-game? For example, the in-game encyclopedia tells you what something is, what one needs to craft an item, and so on. I am pretty certain this is stored in the XMLs within those .dat files somewhere... Just a little experiment I wanna do.

Missions/NPCs: Emergent Missions, NPC Reactions, Mod Parts Trader, High-sec Rooms are Locked, Hacking Outcomes, More Generic Missions, Waypoint Fields for Deployment. Others: Auto-cam, Friendly Fire Tweaks, Teleport From Transporter Room, Wear and Tear.
