Mod debugging - can we change character macros in realtime?

Post by user1679 » Tue, 7. Jun 22, 08:52

So I loaded the game to check a particular hair style on my character macro. It looked bad. I modified the macro and then opened the in-game
chat window and typed /refreshmd but the changes I made to my custom spawned NPC did not appear. I assume this is because
she is not despawned by the command?

My mod is designed to spawn an NPC in the manager's office when you first create a game or when you first land on the station. Having to
reload a whole new game is very time consuming just to tweak the visuals of a character macro.

1. Is there a method to remove an NPC (preferrably by name) so it can be respawned?
2. Is there another way to force respawn of NPCs?
3. Are there more debug commands besides these few viewtopic.php?t=366657
