short question regarding station building

hi all short question
i see more and mroe stations where for example the shipproduction modules for XL and L ships are NOT connectet to any other station module....
is there a mod for that ? or what is this ?

This is not a mod. This is a basic function of the game. In a station, no module needs to be connected to another to work.
