Heyho fellow space travelers,
can someone help a little what software is best working with these formats?
xac = meshes- I have seeen a couple of older attempts to make converter for blender, but wether its too old and the files dont exist anymore or i dont get it to work.
xsm = animation- same as above, though less important as for now the existing stuff can be re used. Still it would be good at least to get a look into it and maybe fix some of the animations used in other mods.
xpm = morph animation- Even less important for now. But I figured from the forum that Egosoft uses eMotionFX for these? Seems that is O3DE-SDK now, but i cant open xpm with that. At least from my first attempts. Might be an outdates format?
A little up to date guidance on this would be awesome. I am eager to make some character stuff, but its really hard to get started. Especially the meshes would be important for me.
Some pointers in the right directions could already help a great deal as i dont have much experience with these things.
Thanks

Yep, these files are created with emotionFX. The software is not available anymore and was bought up/integrated into the cryengine -> lumberyard -> open3dengine.

And the other files, especially xac? Any way to convert them without autodesk?
