Hiding satellite icons

Any suggestions on how to hide the green satellite/resource probe icons on map in a cleanest way?

I was thinking to extend the Show/Hide toggle function which disables drawing the circles, but it still leaves the icons visible.

Very disturbing when you have lots of satellites in a sector!

Any hints? Thanks guys!
