Why is that Teladi nagging me if this is the ship I want to use? I don't lose the ship he asks about. I lose the other one - that was placed near the finish line. What is the point of this dialogue? If I choose 'Cancel', I still can't change which ship I lose, so the nagging is pointless.

And the ship you start the race with is just the latest ship that you upgrade with an engine mod, even if it is not the same model (or even type!) as the one you placed at finish.
