You can create Lockboxes!

I just found out how to create lockboxes! lol

I noticed that my ship had an illegal inventory good and I didn't want to be penalized with the locals so...
Just use the command "Drop Inventory" and choose to create a lockbox.
Anyway, I later ended up setting the cargo drone to collect only legal goods.

Yep. Though I've never really found a purpose for it. When I get scanned I just get out of the pilot seat and wait til they go away. Then later you can just teleport to the HQ anyway.

In my case, it's the large miners. They, if they have a cargo drone, when mining, they can collect drops from asteroids, which they will eventually, unless you disable it and since there is no mass disable for it so... yeah...
And if they collect illegal goods, and since I most forget about them, the police will definitely catch them eventually, taking a hit to reputation. Now if you are late in the game, the hit isn't that bad but, again, since I forget about them...
