Stuck on mission

Hello, I recently got the game and now I am stuck on the mission "Reclaiming what was lost"

I'm supposed to scan a signal leak on the PHQ, this leak is inside a crater in the central asteroid, but I am unable to get closer than about 85 meters before I hit an invisible wall. and at that range it doesn't "trigger" anything no matter how long I look at it. I've tried to repair or destroy it to make a new point spawn in but this doesn't work as I am out of range to repair it...

I've tried in the katana, the smaller kukri and space suit. Even going full boost I just bounce right off the invisible wall.

Using the new Public_Beta version of the game.

How can I progress in the mission?

Probably by waiting for the beta fix to be released by the devs who are investigating. That is why betas are --- well betas.
