[7B8][BUG] Fleet subordinates in a coma

Issue : Fleet subordinates taking time-out for Spaceweed. In the screenshot you can see my Fleet "X Patrol 0", and 3 of the Hydra's in that fleet have just given up following their leader. All the Hydras are set to Defend the lead Thresher.

3 Hydra's that are a concern I have highlighted in the screenshot with a yellow elipse around them.

Load up the save, double click the "X patrol 0" fleet to be taken to the sector, and you should see the 3 Hydras not moving to the east of the highway.

The fleet leader is on Repeat orders, "Attack Nearby Enemies" followed by "Collect Drops", it does this 5 times in different areas then repeats the whole sequence (I'm collecting High Energy Catalyst drops from the Kha'ak who keep attacking my miners in this sector).

Normally all 4 Hydra's follow the leader to each point without fail, but I managed to catch this rare occasion at last.

I have seen this happen with other fleets, but its been hard to get a reproducer save.

This save when I reloaded it fortunately still has the 3 Hydras seemingly saying "Sorry boss, cant be bothered right now", stuck where they stopped.

If I teleport to one of the stuck Hydras, they all come out of their stupor and start following the leader again.
But when they do this it leaves the leader in danger of attacking multiple Kha'ak on his own, and I lose the leader (its happened before). So if we are busy elsewhere and do not notice .. shit happens, we lose assets because they are no longer protecting what they are supposed to be protecting.

Save's too late, and this'll be tricky to track down. Would you happen to have a save from shortly before they were supposed to start following their commander but didn't?

Sorry no, for the beta I am just using three saves and keeping the other 7 long term plays safe, and have already saved over all three in rotation.

understandable. was worth a try.

can you remember if you changed the pilot of the lead Thresher LOX-016 at around the time that the subordinates stopped following?

Ooh thats a good guess and strong possibility, I have been changing a few pilots around in the last 4 days, and the lead Thresher was one of them.
Cant remember exactly when that happened but the pilot has definitely changed, and I have a feeling it may have been just before I noticed this.

think i found the cause, but unfortunately can't test to confirm with your save. should be in a future update. thanks for the report and the save.
