So in my HQ I find that the HQ Manager's chair offers the choice to sit and take over the management console.

But I don't see any other room? Is that it?

[BUG] Trouble is the manager is already sitting in the chair and when I sit I end sitting on her lap. ( not sure she really appreciates that! )

What's the deal with office then? Does the HQ need a special module to be made? ...

I added a luxury dock to the HQ to see if that made any difference. Still not seeing any new rooms. So can someone let me know where the HQ player office is supposed to be. If it's the old manager's office then there's a bug where the manager remains in the seat if you sit in it also.

The personal office should be available at the elevator console (or teleporter room if you prefer that definition). It has a whole different design than the manager's office.

thanks! I'm not going mad then. Seems there's a bug because the office has not appeared in my game.

Or maybe you're not actually running the beta at all. Have you checked the version against the one at the top of the forum?

Also, it was a fresh game, started when the beta became available. I'm almost ready to teleport the station for it's first jump across the system maybe the shock will teleport in an office too!

LRyk, for this Public beta forum have you had a read of the rules?

If it is a bug with the game, Egosoft need at least a vanilla game save (which has not had any third party mods installed) which shows the issue.

rules eh? It looks like more like a request. I'm sure they would like game saves, it must help. But frankly I'm not about to go setting up a dropbox a/c just to report a bug that doesn't matter all that much. It doesn't look like a lot of other players are having the issue so I'll just start another game I expect.

I had this issue, but with the new ship rooms.
It fixed itself when I warped somewhere else and warped back.

You don't need a dropbox or similar account, free file uploads are available as alternatives. eg https://easyupload.io/ can freely host files for 30 days without registration. yes it is unfortunate we are being asked for savegames without being offered a place to put them, but that's a different matter.

I have the same issue and also used a Terran start (Terran Cadet). Maybe that's the source of the issue.
I simply can't select the office on the elevators of the PHQ.
Currently, I am not near the station but I will check later again and then upload a savegame when I am back at the PHQ.

As mentioned above without a save it might be hard to reproduce your issue.

I tried first time with Beta 1 and it didn't appear. Then I created another save now in Beta 2 (still using it in Beta 3) and it's also not showing.

Both starts were with Terran Cadet.
