Looks like I found one reason for that: The required amount listed in the mission description (Methane: 1.15 / km³) is different from the actual objectives (0.01 / km³):

In the missions of type "Identify bountiful regions" I have wondered for a while why the missions get completed with much less resources found than requested.
Looks like I found one reason for that: The required amount listed in the mission description (Methane: 1.15 / km³) is different from the actual objectives (0.01 / km³):
