[6RC1] Attack with commander not working

My fleet is set to "Attack with commander". Everywhere I look it says they must attack the commander's target but they are not (quicksave.xml.gz).

Uh, they attacked the defense drone that I selected...

Selecting small ships is working, I don't even need to shoot.

Doing the kill criminals mission at a station and they attacked them but I got no rewards. The quest didn't advanced.

But killing that ship in the save above isn't working. I got that ship to 77 shield with all of them just watching me.
