Losing Paranid Reputation Fast. No idea why

I have a bunch of complexes all over and a lot of destroyers, carriers and frigates defending these sectors. Lately I have been losing Paranid reputation way too fast. Sometimes it drops about 2 levels and I have no idea why. I recalled all my ships to avoid unwanted combat (although I am not an enemy with the Paranid, so not sure what's going).

What events cause the biggest reputation hits? I am not doing anything for other races and mostly boarding OTAS and Pirate destroyers. Some complexes are in Paranid sectors but they all have legal goods.

I do have an Incendiary Bomb Launcher factory on an unclaimed sector. Some ships are configured to sell them where they can. Could these be causing these rep hits? Any other idea what would cause a major rep drop?

It isn't. I don't see anything happening. None of my ships are in any paranid sectors. I am mostly doing Paranid missions to try to recover the lost rep. Most of my complexes are in Paranid territory
