Notoriety BUG?
I have chosen to get a Python in preparation for defending Brennans Triumph sector for Terran Plot. My chosen route is to buy one and I need to improve my Split notoriety up to Inner Circle of Rhonkar.
I am stuck on 98% Privileged Associate of Rhonkar. Notoriety is not increasing when completing missions and tried twice now to increase via diplomacy and the agents are completing their missions but the notoriety is not increasing. I am also now not being credited with any influence after the agents missions.
Anybody any idea what I might be doing wrong???

Re: Notoriety BUG?
Not a bug. It is an intended mechanic. Your reputation with their enemies (like Boron) is too high. Once you get 8 reputation or more with one race, it caps the reputation with their enemies at 7 @ 98%. You will need to drop the reputation with their enemies before you can go higher.

Thanks for your help both.
Blazenclaw's guide is impressive.
Re: Notoriety BUG?
If your ranking with Boron is 8 or higher, yes. They have a lot of enemies, though. Check the encyclopedia and ensure that your reputation with all of their enemies is not too high.
Re: Notoriety BUG?
Yeah please note: its about ANY enemy of your split.
That means corporations also count: If you would be at +9 with Atreus that would stop you from improving your split reputation over 8 too. Goner with +9 would be fine since they are not enemies.
So reduce your rep with the right factions.
