Lose control of ship

Post by MobileLegion » Sun, 17. Apr 22, 01:47

I have been playing the X3 for some time but I have never looked into why this happens.

When I change to another ship or dock with a ship my Advanced Discoverer just jumps / flies off and I cannot get back into it.

I have also notice that there is a yellow M in right of the screen ( and this is on the other ships of mine I cannot control )

I've got the same problem.

I've just built a carrier and docked with it then before I can removed the jumpdrive it jumped away.
I was trying to get back to my base to reverse engineer it but too late.

I hope someone can shred some light on this.
I have tried to search for an answer but couldn't find anything helpful

The yellow m means that the ship is being managed by its homebase.

Either you uave added it to a carrier management or its homebased at a factory running the station manager.

For the carrier, you need to go into the carrier management options and remove the ship from being managed.

For the station manager, you can go into the station manager restrictions menu and disallow the ship there

Thank you for that.

I was getting really frustrated with the game.
It wasn't as straight forward as I thought but it got my ship back.

Huge thank you
