Spacefly Farms

So as I understand it, Spacefly Farms cannot be added to Complexes and the in-game Complex Planner does not allow you to add them.

Spacefly Farms require - Per Cycle - Energy 330, Ore 55, Rastar Oil 33. Per Hour - Energy 900, Ore 150, Rastar Oil 90.

Rastar Refinery L require - Per Cycle - Energy 100, Chelts Meat 20. Per Hour - Energy 4500, Chelt Meat 900. Production Per Hour 450.
Rastar Refinery M require - Per Cycle - Energy 40, Chelts Meat 8. Per Hour - Energy 1800, Chelt Meat 360. Production Per Hour 180.

Chelt Space Aquarium L require - Per Cycle - Energy 75. Per Hour - Energy 4500. Production Per Hour 900.
Chelt Space Aquarium M require - Per Cycle - Energy 30. Per Hour - Energy 1800. Production Per Hour 360.

I've built a Complex which gives me a surplus of 274,320 Energy Cells and 15,878 Ore (Is this Per Hour?).

With the supply which my Complex Hub is giving me, how many Spacefly Farms, Raster Refineries(L/M) and Chelt Aquariums(L/M) can I buy? :gruebel:

It might work to make a test plan which adds a factory to your complex which has the same requirements as a Spacefly farm. The Tornado Missile factory (if my calculations are correct) also uses Energy 900, Ore 150, Rastar Oil 90 per hour.

The basic formula appears to be that one production factory consumes the output for one equal size food factory. That simplifies the calculations to Ore/Energy.
One XXL Spacefly farm (including Rastar/Chelt) takes 54,000 e-cells and 3,000 ore per hour.
That's max 5 XXL size Spacefly farms to drain your surplus E-cell (274,320 / 54,000) and ore (15,878 / 3000) output.

That being said, don't forget E-cells for ship fuel, and also that you have to sell all those Spaceflies. I had a one XXL factory once and NPC traders bought most of my stock, but I don't know if they can keep up with 5 factories.

Generally, the amount of resources needed is equal to the amount produced at the same size of station.

so if its an M sized station, you need to feed it with another M station.

Mines and Solar Power Plants are the exception, as they are impacted by yield/sunlight
