Need help for mouse

Post by Efirial » Wed, 4. Oct 23, 21:08

I playing the X3 FL, with 1.3.10 unofficial patch.
and at one point my mouse cursor control turned off
I can't turn it on using Spacebar
But the old navigation, like in X3 Reunion, with Shift+N button turns on corrently .

I'll try to remapping the button, but its doesn't work. And the spacebar button work correct in other situation.

And left mouse button click dont turn on the mouse control

Did you modify your control settings? Have you tried resetting it with the default?

You got wired or wireless? Double check it still works out of game. At what point does the cursor vanish? Like in the games menu or the loading of save file?

Edit ** I find no settings for enabling disabling the mouse. If it is missing from the games menu as well could be an issue with it's driver. If it's only missing when ingame / after loading a save, could be an installation problem.

Try these steps...
1. Restart computer once. Check in game.
2. Unplug mouse, wait about 30 seconds and plug back in.
3. Unplug mouse, enter game and load save. Then quit and exit.
- Plug mouse back in and test again.
4. Try a different mouse. Meaning model or brand entirely.
5. Try running the validation tool in Steam (if you installed from there).
- In steam, right click the game in library, go to properties, then find Installed Files. Then click on "verify integrity of game files" button. Let it run and then try again.
6. This one is gonna suck, but try uninstalling and reinstalling the game completely. Your save files will be fine, but the game will reinstall itself with default settings.
Peace is a state of mind!
