Request Scripting Guides

Post by BrigandPhantos77 » Mon, 30. Oct 23, 13:26

Does anyone have any documentation, guides or walkthroughs they could share, pdf, text format, etc... that shows proper usage/syntax of commands in the script editor I could study? I want to dive more in-depth instead of just doing 2 / 3 line simple scripts. I have a basic grasp of concepts.

Purrty please? :D  8)

you can try the MSCI handbook
its for X2 but the basics remain the same.

i also did a few guides for X3 Reunion, http://xpluginmanager.co.uk/scripts/help/

for info about changes and additions for FL specifically, you can check the wiki, https://www.egosoft.com:8444/confluence ... d=99025004

Thank you!! Thank you!!

I'm currently stuck with my project. Call this my way of teaching myself to do this. Up till now the only practice or experience I have is from taking C++ back in college 13 years ago. I can do the basics, but my mind starts to space out if I push too fast and too much at once. Guess I am getting and feeling old.

My mind goes into 'split mode'. You want split? :D

I know I gotta pull a list of sectors, and run get discovery points on each one. Then output that to either the player log book, or print on screen.
