Well, consider that I started A Truly Savage Split no fewer than eight times, even before From Nothing, and finally hit on Dead-is-Drunk.

Of course those eight failures are what lead to survival for APR and BSC.

I'm a slow learner, apparently, as I manage to screw up and get myself killed over basic stuff :p But I'm also stubborn, so I will get it right. One way or another.
