X3 Reunion missions

Is there anyway to skip a certain mission.

Mission 11: Ocracoke's Storm, Spydrone.

Iam having trouble piloting the spydrone due to the fact i cant see the walls thanks mainly to my graphics card and i dont really want to fork out a load of dosh on buying a new one just so i can complete one mission.

No, skipping a mission is not possible.
I'd try to play around with your graphics settings, increasing gamma might help.

yeah no good just makes the screen go white, but thxs anyway pity no one made a cheat tool to jump missions

This isn't possible, because the main story is coded with KC. But you could upload your savegame somewhere and ask if someone would be so nice to play the mission for you.

sounds like a plan, although iam not technically minded. (wouldn't no where to begin to upload a savegame but iam really good at downloading stuff

)

Wouldn't it be easier to just upload from anyone who has past that pacticular mission dont really care what progress they have made can always start building an empire again.

Your savegames are stored in your Documents\Egosoft\X3\save folder. There are many free file hoster in the internet. Just use google (one suggestion would be mediafire).

The user cheeseburger provides here several savegames of each mission step of the X3:R story and the bala gi research missions. As long as you use a version equal or higher than 2.0.02 you should have no problems using them.

I managed a few missions but found many more missions where your inside something so i spent most of my time skipping bits.

Hey guys,

Sorry to butt into someone else's thread. I am having an unrecoverable mission problem too.

I was hoping to take you up on the suggestion of someone else trying out my savegame.

In the plot when you get to Teladi Gain to get the Don Marani's daughter. As soon as the space suit mission starts inside the station, I am cut directly to the Game over screen.

I have tried to look for other people who have this bug. Seems like I am the only one.

Could the mods try out my save and see if they can do the spacewalk ? Its vanilla XTM with no other scripts or mods.

As you're playing the Xtended Mod, I would suggest the Xtended Mod's thread or directly the forum of the Xtended Mod team ( http://www.thexuniverse.com/content/ ), because this forum is not that active anymore.

Sometimes after FINALLY getting through a mission, escorting is the worst, it feels good to accomplish it.

As far as not seeing the walls, I had the same problem when I did those missions. Buy yourself a graphics card! I know it is money, but the value of a new graphics card is unparalleled to the return on your investment. Know that video games are only going to get bigger and better. You are going to need the card soon anyway. Plus, the spy drone mission was really cool.

After 3 years, I am back again. I could never finish X 3. I tried 3 times. Always Vanilla. It is so frustrating to see weeks of effort go to waste.

Everytime it is the same, there is some sort of graphics glitch that makes it impossible to see. Screen goes white. Tried on 3 different machines, with Vanilla Reunion updated to latest.

Really, this is the last time. I feel like throwing the game

Can someone please try my savegame and see if they can play at all ? I can't see at all and keep crashing into the tunnel. This is AP Gunner.

I would be so totally grateful to finally finish this after buying it 2008 and not finishing till now
