Self control?

May as well put a starving man in a room full of food and say dont eat :)

My self control was in not installing the mod :)

No matter will put it on and not eat the food.

If you really don't trust yourself, just uninstall the package again after you've used it for what you need to use it for.

Love the bounty system :)

Waited for a Xenon J to wreck as much havock as it can in Midnight Star and then took it down. Got total bounty worth 21mil. Highest among them was 11mil :)

Haha nice one :) I did the same thing. I came to Menelaus Paradise piloting my beefed up Toukon called "Seinaru Kaze". I let the Xenon boys to do some some damage and then I delivered three salvos of lawgivers to K. I was rich then :))) Nice and clean.

I like the fact that pirates use other then just pirate ships but they lack their own M1+ and M2+

"Penatron" the talonfire command-ship may just be the easiest way to get M2+ or a 100mil. Not a bad ship but still a teladi-tub.

Its been a while since we've seen new ships, hence my suggestion. There should be more "un-conventional" ships too and some challenges to find and capture some.[/b]

Just realised I've not seen any response craft at all playing XRM, I included the "fix" scripts, sounds like I've done something wrong?

They aren't named like in vanilla X3:AP. The RRF ships are done more seamlessly and usually are called, for example, Argon Military Titan. I hope that helps.

Hmm, pretty sure I've still not seen them though. I spawned a load of terran ships in Omicron Lyrae as a test, they've blown up almost everything there and there's been little to no military presence there for 10 minutes.

Ok, just looked back and there's a Cyclops at one of the gates and a Centaur leading a large fighter wing in. I don't know, earlier I had a Kha'ak Adv. Corvette kill all the drones and ships in Ore Belt, and I watched it for at least an hour. No military or anything came to deal with it.

Most of the resoince ships in the omicron area are probably already engaging the terran fleet so spawning ships in omicron could take a while to get a respoonce. best bet is to look for the terran fleet and see whats going on there. also i believe it takes time for the rrf fleets to be rebuild once destroyed so possibly your at a stage were most have already been destroyed engaging the terrans.
I used to list PC parts here, but "the best" will suffice!

Hey, everytime when I connect to military defence network I click on Xenon/Yaki/Khaak activity tabs and there are no results, it's always empty. Why is that? Is is functional or not ?

That's what I got in TC - It only works for AP I believe.

Shame there is no way to alter the interactions.

Last night whilst playing the game, it crashed for the first time in 18 months of playing TC. I was only looking through a list of ships available at a Boron shipyard, tried to get details on one of the new ones, Guppy I think it was and black screen. I had to alt/ctrl/del out.

Is this something I can expect with the combination of TC and XRM, or is it uncommon and I need to look at what little else I have running? I would imagine it happens less with AP and XRM?

I have running at the moment:
TC;
XRM;
No fog;
No tubes;
Gazz's missile def 2;
Lazcorp Claim sector;
All plots complete; ( Just couldn'tface the hub again! )
I have also installed the Phanon Cororation, but have not initiated it yet.

no it is not something you should expect, I had absolutely no crashes with TC+XRM (admittedly I only played TC+XRM for a short time) and with AP+XRM.

are all your mods properly installed and working? just looking at ship details is a bit too simple action to cause a crash :)

OK, I had a rather harsh experience last night in XRM.

I was in my Elite and attacked a lone Pirate Nova Raider. I came in from behind and got his shields down, all the while I was seeing these yellow trails coming toward me. My shields took a few hits but I was still above 50% when I took him down.

His ship exploded, then mine exploded.

I'm trying to work out how I died. I didn't hear any missile launches but I heard a chucking sound every few seconds as I was fighting him. Is it possible that my mosquito missile defense was destroying his missiles so fast that there was no launch alarm? And then destroyed one so close to my ship that it took mine out in the blast?

It happened really quickly so I have no idea what went down. But I can't see how I died when I had the upper hand like that. :?

I seen we can use these
"Otas Maintenance Pods can be bought to rapidly repair ships at the cost of Quantum Tubes"

As i haven't used the above yet not sure how they work.

But could it be made possible to make repair ships, repair lasers?
