There are no actual missions in the traditional sense. However, there are several "objectives" which if completed will win the war for one side or the other (for a time). These are outlined in the message you recieve at the start of an Argon or Terran game - although you can join in no matter what start you pick.

The XRM war was never intended to be a plot. It was added purely because the vanilla AP war didnt really fit in with the XRM design, but I didnt want to completely remove it. Of course, not having the vanilla war running broke the main plot.

So there are lots of things to do in the XRM war, but youll just need to add the plot "fluff", as Mizuchi calls it, with your imagination.

Crystal Fabs and Solar Power Plants should mostly be in their vanilla locations... I really cant think of any reason that they wouldnt be there unless you have a rogue tfactories somewhere which is not at all in the same format as the vanilla tfactories... have you ever installed any other total conversion mods like xtc? Im wondering if you have a remnant from that somewhere (that would explain your performance issues too).

If youre seeing stations called "FDN" spawning and you dont have the "FDN" scripts installed, then they must be being spawned by a script id have thought.

The FDN entries are well outside the vanilla TFactories entries so should really be being spawned by anything other than the FDN scripts.

Just double check that you havent installed another mod whicb adds a modded tfactories.

Bernd has stated himself that pilot seat is the toilet seat*!! :D thats why your pilot never gets into situations where he is "Bursting for a crap just as the bloody Khaak take an interest in you!"

* that was stated as an answer to the question by one of the forum users - question was "can I replace my pilot seat with a toilet?"

Having some trouble with this. Trying to use the XRM and AP version in my game but the AL menu is showing a read text error for this. Does this conflict with any of Lucike's scripts or with IR or some other script or mod>>

sorry i think i didnt make myself clear enough, the fdn was showing for sale. just i didnt have a clue what they were, my first thought was borked naming etc but im good with that. also the crystal fabs and solar plants i see them everywhere, just not found anywhere to buy them. that is what i was asking because im used to seeing them for sale everywhere.

as for the war.... i kinda didnt read anything in my eagerness to play. so the objectives have eluded me, lol.

other than that WOOT i love it, all i need now is a phq to start churning out my army. yes terrans, all your base are belong to us.

So, if the main AP plot doesn't work, how can I start the Hub and Player HQ Plots? Those depend on the main plot being finished, right?

I have changed the starting requirements for the phq and hub plots.

hub requires positive rep with teladi and nmmc hq to be known.

SPPs and Crystal fabs should be for sale at corporation showrooms.

A script must be adding fdn stations for sale. Are you sure you dont have any of the FDN scripts installed?

Paul, do you mean you're changing them in the next update or that's what they are? Because that should be the other way round ;)

as for the plots i have positive rep (number script installed say +5) with teladi and even docked at nmmc, but nothing

he just mixed up names, :) the general principle is there though - good rep with a plot giver race and knowing where the headquarters of a corp are

This just crashes for me when installed. While starting a new game, or soon after, while docking at the first gate. With or without bonus package and other scripts.
Where is it?

you are playing AP right? did you properly name the cat/dat pairs? if you have a clean install, they should be 03.cat/03.dat from the XRM part 1 and 04.cat/04.dat from XRM part 2 and also have you copied all the scripts and everything over to proper folders? are you using any of the addon packs? if yes how did you number them?

also, when it manages to start, pick a start from Argon Prime (I think its the nostalgic argon) look at the shipyard - is it the huge model? then look at Argon One is it the colossus or a new model?
