Hi this question was asked on page 1374 and mentioned 1375. Treasure hunt Hint 2 . There is nothing at the correct coordinates. I am sure there was a problem with the first clue as I never got to it via the coordinates, just checked the whole sector. I have read the walkthrough up to where I need but I just gives the sector name (which is fine) Playing AP XRM with Bonus pack and Marine repairs. Any help would be great.

Hi!
Recently established X3TC + mod XRM. Steam version of the game. Installation fashion done according to the instructions. Additionally put a Monster Ship Pack. Started a new game trainning don't want to play in the stories. In the end, I can't buy the ship Mercury, because it's not in Argon Prime does not in other relevant sectors. This is a bug? Help please, and then have to demolish the XRM mod, and I want to play with him. Also having done some fighting in space in a fighter plane and getting damaged, I couldn't repaired at the shipyards is not in the dock. This is also a mistake?

you need to remove this monster pack and restart game.
in my experience, xrm has very few bugs, and if something isn't working it's usually your own fault.
maybe egosoft could have learned a lesson here...

And unless Monster Ship Pack is not compatible with XRM? I was told that it may be placed and all will be fine...

I recall a discussion about the Monster Ship Pack a while back. Leopard asked for permission to post it, and did not get that permission from Paul.
It was clear that the intention of the Monster Ship Pack was that it is made specifically to work with XRM.
However, I think that IStukalov will have better luck asking Leopard for support.

The monster ship pack (if its the one available that merges XTC and the XRM) has been released without mine, or the XTC team's approval. It was released long before the author bothered to come here to ask if I minded - I don't think he's ever asked the XTC team.
The author has taken original assets from both mods without permission and released a bastardised version of the two.
I cannot offer support to anyone running that mod.

@DR B, Thank you for you reply, As I have been following this thread for some time and even posted in the "few pages back" I did see this mentioned. I have no problem with entering coordinates correctly as have been playing X3 many years. Perhaps I did not formulate my question correctly. Is there any way to restart the mission as I feel it is bugged in some way on my play through? i.e. The first clue, I had to manually scan the sector until I got to the correct place. This was after entering the the coordinates in the X, Z, Y, style as apposed to to X, Y, Z, When on the second clue, it just sends me (in the correct sector) just under, and to the side of a solar power plant

And how to be, when, during the fight, I've had a damage of the body, then for the shipyard nor in the dock I can't repair it?
Another question about the subject of "Own game" - I understand correctly that XRM also operates during this type of game?

Regarding Treasure Hunt:
I would expect that Plots Reset (TC) will work even in XRM (TC or AP), but don't blame me if it breaks something.
OK. Assuming that you tried both x,y,z and x,z,y forms, and that you are entering the coordinates in k(m) instead of meters, then the next suggestion is to look at Spike's Walkthroughs. Hello guys!
A while ago I decided to try a new playthrough of X3:AP and wanted a new experience. I decided I wanted to play mainly as a combat pilot as I normally do the trader route. Currently I am sitting pretty in an Eclipse PAR, with a Magnetar, Disco Explorer, an Arrow and a Kha'ak M4 I capped. On top of that I have 53m credits sat in my bank. I'm on a Humble Merchant start and have decent rep with everybody except Terran, who I am at -1 with. Currently at Fight and Trade rank 19.
A while ago I noticed combat missions are beginning to get extremely hard, because as great as a M3+ is, it is not very good at killing M6 and M7 ships! I am now looking at getting a bigger ship. In regular AP I'd probably look at a M6M and start capping bigger ships. However, I'm led to believe this isn't so good in XRM due to certain weapon changes. As I am currently watching William Ferrell's XRM Let's Play I think I might like an M7, but don't know what my options are! The biggest ship I've flown in the past is the Hyperion Vanguard (because who needed bigger?), but I have a feeling that would not get me very far. I am considering an Astraeus, but I believe that's about 50m without weapons and upgrades. I suppose I could abuse the stock market for the extra money.
So, after all that... I have 53m cash, no real assets except an Eclipse, and want a better ship. What do you guys recommend? I know I could buy 10 Sector Traders and have 250m with a nights SETA, but I am going to avoid that in this place through. I will eventually build complexes to fit fighter wings when I have an M1 and M2, and missiles for a M7M, but I want to get there off my own merit!

have a look at the Otas Sirikos
http://www.strikingsoftware.com/xrmstats.html I saw it a few days ago and have just got it as my player ship. its less credits than the Hypirion and the Yaki version the Appolox and it take the CIG that the Hypirion used to have in Vanilla. Not as good a shielding as the other two, but it's got a bit more speed. And if like me you want to go hunting the tuning crates, you can get it up to a fast M3 speed. Also if you look at DR Bullwinkle's sig. he has a list of his own mods/scrips that may come in handy.

You want to go hunting M7 with you ship? Well, at least you should avoid attacking the "assault" versions, like Cyclops, because it can get very nasty.
In one of my latest saves i tried to use PBG as main guns for Yaki Corvettes, and what should i say... they are quite evil, even after they´ve been toned down in XRM ( only friendly fire issue can be a bit disturbing ). Another very good solution is to use any M6 that can mount IPD as front guns, and that is why: 1. this weapon is effective against figters and corvettes ( not so good vs. frigs, but even then it can be usefull, or you can mount it´s bigger brother instead ), so you won´t have to change weapons too often and 2. once the shields are gone. you can finish the enemy with an adequate salvo of missiles - that´s what i do, at least. OTAS ships are known to have the ability to mount Boron weapons, indeed.
If you want some real fun making M3/M6 barbeque, then you could try out Split Wolf - you won´t forget the experience, i promise

Target some Pirate M6 for the start ( i use improved boarding ), repair them ( marine repairs ), and sell them, and you´ll be able to afford a decent ship, or just keep one of your tropheys

Mod MSP is fully compatible with the XRM.
Ship Mercury is not available at the shipyard in Argon Prime. You can buy it in civilian shipyards (Antigone Memorial, Red Light).

Because both possess the largest number of ships M6, the number of turrets. And these are very useful for defense against missiles and fighters.

Privateers...whats the best way of dealing with these?
I have a horrid Paranid reputation (who doesn't) and come across red privateers in other race's sectors. They attack my trade ships, yet if I shoot them, the sector's police and military come after me (Split, in the last case). If I shot at the M7 paranid privateer, then the Split get angry. How am I supposed to defend my property in this instance?
The only idea I had was to use the pirate guild "request raid" feature to send a raiding party against the privateer but I doubt they'd get there in time to take out the privateer before all my trade ships were obliterated. How do you guys deal with privateers?

If you don't want to install other trading scripts then make sure that you traders DON'T carry lasers and fight software 1&2 as this will cause the default Egosoft attack script to kick in and override most other commands and cause your traders to fight when they have no chance of winning instead of trying to escape. Fighter drones are also recommended as they will hopefully distract the enemy long enough for your trading ship to escape.
