Paul is the original models for the Mistral and Mistral Super Freighter available to be used for new ships as you used the original Boreas model for the Goner Paladin M2 and original Eclipse model for the Goner Crusader M3.

Would it be possible to use the original models to create two new Goner TS ships, a standard and Super Freighter variant.

Is anyone els having issues with the Station helper mod(where it builds stations for you) ? Every time I try to usde it with this MOD my game hard locks an I cant shut it down without rebooting.

When the msg comes up an I hit "ok" the game hard locks 100% of time. yet it works perfectly in vanilla....

There have been a number of updates to the Hephaistos CSBS since the version in the Bonus Pack (~v0.6), which I think XRM is compatible with. These questions may help:

1. Which Hephaistos version are you running? Current version is 0.72 beta.
2. Which XRM version are you using? Current version is v1.30d (02.12.13).
3. What station(s) is it trying to build?
4. What sector is it trying to build in?

ahh ok that might be the issue then. I not sure where I grabbed that version I have... I have no idea, if I try to run it, it locks up. I dont get as far as making a station. I am using the version that is posted in the mod forum

XRM, I am using the latest version,but I am using a heavily modded one from a youtube guy I found an he gave me his directory. So I know its latest version of XRM, but dammed if I know what els is in it.

Never get to see what stations, it hangs when you hit ok at start of email.

In vanilla it works perectly every time, so I would say its it is some mod/script in my XRM pack that is tweaking it.

I was having simular problems with the station building service, you def have to use the non bonus pack version.

I haven't tried it out in my current game, but i think the advanced universe module makes it wierd out. as it maynot have a gate to lock onto depending on your chosen location to build.

It may not be possible to fix this if you're unsure which things were bundled into the pack that you were sent - some might be changing things that HCSBS tries to access :(

Regarding the HCSBS version, you probably have the latest version if it’s from the mod forum and that is fortunately possible to check. The latest version places a readme file, listing the version number, in the Documents directory of your install.

If you're using AP, you could perhaps try the older version by running the Bonus Pack (picking just HCSBS) instead but I have no idea if that would help. Are you using AP or TC?

Well I use both, but I have hells own trouble getting XRM to run by downloading the normal 3 part version. It just wont install. This pack I got installs flawlessly.... But again I think there is something that just doesn't like the helper script.

I can live without it at moment, but I will go through it tomorrow an pull out all the mods I can find bundled with it.. Maybe try to work out why XRM wont install with the forum version.

More questions.
I am trying to find out what guns go on an Aegir M7.
The documentation on guns is very frustrating. The in game info just has shades of aqua.

From what I can see there is a top gun for the left and right turrets that is not named. It is just a light aqua. I tried looking in the spreadsheet for XRM ships, but that just has "27". The tool tip for 27 doesn't work. The Weapons section lists gun 27 as "Dark Matter Beam Cannon", but I can't find this gun for sale, listed in the encyclopedia, or a factory to build.

What is gun 27 and where can I get it?

I think they are Xenon weapons.

The Aegir cannot mount xenon weapons - if youre seeing this then something is wrong.

It should only be able to mount terran weapons.

The tool tip in the stats works just fine - weapon #27 is not compatible - its highlighted for unavoidable technical reasons - Trust the tool tip.

Compatible weapons are also listed in the ship info in the game itself- below the coloured icons.

Is there something wrong with the part 3 and part 1 files up for download? I've tried them both twice and got something to the tune of 'the folder is invalid'.

EDIT: Trying some more times, it seems like they're downloading at a fraction the speed my connection is capable of and ending long before they're fully downloaded. Might be a problem on my end? If so, why did part 2, the hull pack and a cockpit pack work?

Parts 1 and 3 are an order of magnitude larger than the rest. They are all hosted by the X Universe so it may be a temporary issue with them.

Yes, seems like that was the problem, Part 1 is downloading properly now, but slowly.

I fixed the crashing issue, it seems the Helper MOD version was out of date. I just updated it with the XRM version, an sorted....

I would love for someone to make an installer for the XRM, as long as I have control of the distribution and its easy to update.

I do not want lots of threads on here with outdated versions of the XRM - it would make maintaining the mod and offering support impossible.

I found ans issue with the XRM ship stats http://www.strikingsoftware.com/xrmstats.html

If i use the search function with M1, M4, M5, M6, M7, M8 all is fine and all other ship clases get filtered out.
When i search for TP, i get TPs and all M1, M2 with a TP turret.
Similar searching for TLs finds Atlas, Cutlass etc.
Thats not really bothersome as there are only a few of them anyway.
But searching for M3 results in almost all M6, M7, M1, M2, TL, a few M4, TP, TS, TM.
Its wierd because there is no "M3" in any of these names.

And it adds one more problem in finding the right M3 for my carriers :x
