That sounds pretty funny when you say it in English.

I know that you were not talking to me, either, but I am curious what issue do you feel ignored about? If it is just the update, then Paul recently described his plans. Probably in the past few pages. Short version: He is working on it, but he is busy.

Duude, you just asked a man question and on other other day you demand someone to reply.
Some people have busy lives here, I've been asking Paul about the update and he told me that he is working on it and will deliver it soon. He had more time to mod in past years.
Simply chill and enjoy what you have already, and if you need help there are many other gamers who know the answers in this mod and no one gets discriminated because of language or nationality. eot

It is Paul's "house". His house; his rules.

If you enter a man's house then disrespect his rules, then you will get your butt kicked. I would be surprised if it is any different in Russia.

  • (I have always personally thought that XRM would benefit from encouraging third-party extensions, just as the game itself has benefited by works such as XRM. But that's just my thoughts, which aren't really important. Paul's wishes are the only ones that actually *matter* in his thread - and his mod.)

How can you then it's complicated ....
We have, for example, in Russia, we - the developers of global modifications, always sharing and ideas, ideas, and in the end - the content.

But here is some anarchy - a monarchy! If it's mine, so no one else! If someone is picked up, it is a traitor to the homeland, the devil incarnate.

Worst of all, when you do not explain the reason for resentment, ignore.
Here he would ask me - do not use content XRM. Yes, what for I need it? I would not now sitting day for the development, and would play in the Elite: Dangerous.

For all those patiently waiting for the update - apologies. I know I had said it would be done by now, but I am really struggling to find the time to finish off the last few bits. Between my day job getting really busy and my musician job getting even busier, not to mention my family, I have little spare time at the moment.

All I can say is - I'm working on it - I'll get it done as soon as I can.

I would point out its not a massive update. I think the days of any massive updates are long gone for the XRM. Its mostly fixes for issues people have pointed out over the past year - especially the issue of the overlapping Bounty cleanup scripts which will be sorted, plus some missile rebalancing and couple of minor ship balancing issues.

For those who are using MARS: In the MARS data file (which is attached at the beginning of this thread) there is a minor issue with the damage of three weapons (the Boron Ion Disruptor, the Khaak Beta Kyon Emitter and the Terran Prototype Matter/Anti-Matter Launcher). Their damage per second values in the data file weren't entirely correct which could result in weird weapon choices for MARS concerning these three weapons.

This was tested on the most recent XRM 1.30 with MARS 5.25.

Is it now safe to assume that XRM will never get another big update that would require a new game start to see the full effects? Is XRM now at a point where Paul feels it is generally complete and is just going to fix problems or major balance issues?

That assumption would be correct (a new game start hasn't been required since v1.07).

Anywhere I can download ship/weapon stats

Is there anywhere I can get accurate ship and weapon stats for XRM?

Seems the only official source is - http://www.thexuniverse.us/downloads/cm ... nilla.html

but that site is all messed up the numbers and gun types don't match,

everything seems to have"3" on there but "3" isn't a gun type . the hover lists "4" as PRG, also the hover only appears over turrets . you can see the problem in this screenshot http://i.imgur.com/I4ZFQdK.png

On top of this it doesn't display cost/cargo/hanger data and is a pain to navigate

Are there any good excel spreadsheets with all the data?

The numbering does appear to be inconsistant - but the pop up list is correct. I was not aware that the pop up was not working for main guns - unfortunately, the person who wrote the scripts that generates the specs is no longer active here, so they will not be fixed.

The stats do display cargo and hanger information - at the bottom of the page you'll see a scroll bar - these stats are on the far right so you need to scroll to see them - note the hanger information is only internal docking - external docking is difficult to read automatically from the game files.

There is no spreadsheet as there is no easy way to generate a spreadsheet directly from the game files and maintaining one with manual edits is a huge task.

Hi!

Im trying to use XRM ships for a mod that Im making (this mod is for my own use only)

Im able to successfully use smaller ships without problems..My problems come when I'm trying to use Argon large ships such as the Atlas and Daedalus..

the Atlas scene file has this entry:

But this is only based on the stats from XRM 1.24 (http://www.strikingsoftware.com/xrmstats.html) - there were some changes during the last XRM versions. However, Paul has promised to update these stats pages.

Hey, might be weird if i noticed it just now after playing this game/mod for so long, but is it normal for boron capship weaponry to destroy 80% of my equipment/software and 40% of my weapons by the time my Split Taipan is at 85% health?
I just decided to launch a strike against a Boron core sector, and i'm like "Ion cannons? Meh, split has no shield anyway". Thinking the massive amount of HP on the beast would be enough to tank out the slugfest between the ships, i suddenly noticed that Betty went crazy, and by the time the battle was over, i had lost about 20 million credits worth of gear.

Is this normal?
I could have sworn that my ship hp needed to be much lower before i started loosing gear. But if this is the case, i will be staying away from the squids in the future.
