I assume it will be from their own website, there is a snapshot of the official press release on Twitter.

Edit
Looks like Trump's MAGa fans are revolting, on Trump's social media platform, its now full of FireX, and people are demanding that Trump fires his top campaign managers and puts in loyalists.
What they don't realise is, it won't matter, Trump won't listen to anyone. and also, the press conference was HIS idea, and a spur of the moment thing. As it seems that, press were at his home, and Trump thought it was a good idea to go out and try and fix things.
In Trump's case, they won't fix broken. Trump will fail. and will only implode farther as the time goes along.
So yeah, MAGA is faling to pieces and on the verge of a civil war.

LinkMost GOP elected representatives and leaders do not believe the Big Lie—after all, they never questioned their own victories or losses in 2020. But they are cowards, so to stay in power they have perpetuated Trump’s mass delusion through their silence [...]
That's one thing that still surprises me to this day: with a few exceptions (e.g. Mitt Romney) Republicans in Congress are too afraid to speak up publicly against Trump.

Re: U.S. Presidential Election 2024
like the thing says, they're cowards.
This is why republicans govern by fear mongering. They understand fear. They spend so much time living in fear of black and brown people, gay and trans people, atheists and Muslims, so on and so on, they can't do anything but to run and hide or get on camera and let the bigotry flow. And when other republicans speak out against the things they fear so much, it encourages them to join together to berate one or more of the afore mentioned undesirables hand-in-hand and it makes them feel like they're being tough stwong people, but it's all a facade, masking their fear, and they know it.
Because of this house of cards they continue to build, they rely on absolute loyalty to maintain the facade. When one of them does something truly heinous, like how Matt Gaetz engaged in sex trafficking a minor, they can't afford to move attention away from their house of cards to chastise one of their own for their crimes. As you witnessed, when McCarthy refused to end the ethics investigation, the division that caused broke the walls of their house of cards and they haven't recovered ever since. Loyalty above all is the only thing that keeps that house standing. This is why so many of them don't speak out against Darth Hamburder. Fortunately, for us, they don't have enough conviction for that to last and you've seen several of them crumble, like several prominent republicans and serving mayors endorsing Harris.
At the end of the day tho, remember, while some of the republicans may be seemingly switching sides to defeat Diaper Don, they are still republicans. Let's not forget that Lindsey Graham once called the orange one a "race bating xenophobic bigot" and Cheeto Christ's own VP pick called him "Americas Hitler" and now their lips have a permanent orange stain. And maybe some republicans were never in his corner to begin with, like Kinzinger, but they all did their part to get the GOP to where it is today that allowed this to happen in the first place. I, for one, am extremely skeptical that these "whites only" card carrying club members have changed their hearts. When this is all over and the MAGA nuts have been kicked to the curb, they'll be right back where they were before all of this nonsense. Never trust a republican.

On the flip side, Harris is doing incredibly well.

I don't see an empty spot there, This woman is incredible. If this keeps up, then her win is in the bag. Good luck to her. But still a huge turn out and turn around. Trump will be throwing ketchup on the walls if he saw that.

Looks like at least one republican is in support of Harris on that day.

If he recognises the dangers that that Trump represents and his party, then hopefully more will as well. No doubt Trump will probably blast him and say he is a traitor. But its a good sign if John Giles starting to see a difference. maybe more will follow suit?Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign rally in Arizona on Friday featured one particularly notable speaker: John Giles, the Republican mayor of Mesa, who gave a rousing speech denouncing his longtime party's direction under former President Donald Trump.
At Harris' rally in Glendale, Giles urged moderates to follow his lead — and back the Democratic ticket.
"I do not recognize my party," said Giles. "I have something to say to those of us who are in the middle: You don’t owe a damn thing to that party. You don’t owe anything to a party that is out of touch and hell-bent on taking us backward. And by all means, you owe no loyalty to a candidate who is morally and ethically bankrupt."
"In the spirit of the great Senator John McCain, please, please, please join me in putting country over party and stopping Donald Trump," he said, as the crowd cheered.

To me one follows the others. If a party does not have ideology it will be very vulnerable to any movement within which manages to mass mobilize its supporters. Why would you oppose Trump if you stand for nothing and entire spiel is about staying or gaining power? What is there to offer instead? Don't want to offend anyone here but it seems like that looking from outside in.notaterran wrote: ↑Sat, 10. Not that democrats are that much better imho - case in point their tepid reaction to loss of woman rights over their own body (then again perhaps that is no biggie for most American woman so what do I know).
Far more interesting and worrying in that article is warning about attempts to disrupt elective process. That should be taken seriously.

I also read that there Musk might be playing a part in disrupting things. At least several states might not certify the results if Harris wins. So this is a very serious threat. And I hope that Biden will use his powers to deal with those traitors. As for Musk, He should keep out. But if there is any evidence of him meddling with the election, then he needs to be held accountable.

Musk interfering with the US election on behalf of a person who hates immigrants passionately is so comically funny, as Musk himself is a South African who immigrated first to Canada and then to America, so he isn't even an American, he's just another immigrant living in America, ironic or what.

But ol Elon has the right skin color. If you review all of the immigration policies of the oompa loompa king during his time in office, any country that wasn't predominantly white had their immigration allowances severely reduced while the ones that are predominantly white had their allowances increased. See, the issue for republicans isn't that immigrants are a problem, its that the ones that aren't white are the problem. This is why you never see republicans pitching a fit at the Canadian border. I will grant you the flow of undocumented immigrants from Cananda are far less than they are from the Mexican border, but because they're white, the republicans don't care.

Re: U.S. Presidential Election 2024
Joe Rogan has announced he is no longer backing Trump for the Presidency no instead he has decided to back RFK so in other words he is no longer going to support one insane person instead he is going to support another insane person. And how is Trump reacting to this news, do I really need to tell anyone that. SO I'm thinking this is all to do with an interview Trump gave the other day there, where he was asked who his favourite MMA fighter is, to be honest I know nothing about MMA, turns out Trump does he even personally knows some of the main guys in the sport, so how does Trump reply to the question, well instead of picking one of the American guys no in Trumps greatness he actually picks the top Russian fighter as his favourite, of course this has not gone down to well in the American MMA scene, hence why I think Rogan has abandoned him, it also shows exactly what country Trump loves the most.

Re: U.S. Presidential Election 2024
Seems from one report, Trump has been calling Harris the "B" word, these last few weeks. I don't know if he has said that word in public, but there is a fear in some of his inner circle that he might unload that in a public debate. (or worse, use the "N" word. while his supporters would love that. For the rest of the country, I don't think so, And would only alienate those of colour and women in general.
It wouldn't surprise me, if Harris gets under his skin too much in the debate, he will swing one or both her way. If that was on live TV, it will probably finish him there and then.

Would be nice if the Trump vote was split between RFK and Trump.felter wrote: ↑Sat, 10. Honestly I give it a day or two for his fans to make shirts out of it. I’d assume that if he calls her the n-word his fanbase would love it.

I think if he says it in the debate, it will be a PR disaster. Sure his base would love it. But it will be a huge turn off for everyone else. Even his campaign staff will be hard to spin it. Especailly when he claims he has black friends and so on. And does America want a racist in the WH?
But I could see him calling her that in the debate, once his buttons get pushed. His mind will probably snap.

Re: U.S. Presidential Election 2024
Trump's campaign are claiming that Iranians have hacked their servers, and that a good chunk of internal memos and stuff, (mostly about Vance) got taken.
Not sure iif this is 100% true, but Microsoft seemed to have confirmed this as well. But I not clicked on any of the links that are suppose to confirm this report.
Either that, it would have been an internal leak by some of his staff. There are some memos floating about about Vance, and about how the bandage looked on Trump. So its whether its a hack or a leak. Still. it also now depends on how damaging this becomes?

so whoever it was that hacked the orange one's campaign, they released a ton of instructional videos for implementation of project 2025... so much for diaper Don's attempts to distance himself from that.

Re: U.S. Presidential Election 2024
Trumps obsession with Harris's crowd size just gets more delusion.
Talk about cracking up, his decline will only get worse. Can't wait for the debate now, That will probably finish him off. And no way will he be fit for that as well. But yeah, his full scale mental collapse is imminent. On Sunday afternoon, rally crowd-obsessed Donald Trump took a shot at Vice President Kamala Harris by claiming the photos of the crowd that showed up for an airport rally was created by “A.I.’d.”
According to the former president who has watched the vice president passing him in the polls and in rally crowd counts, a "maintenance worker at the airport" turned her in.
Despite video from the rally showing a packed crowd at Detroit Metros Airport, the former president presented what he believed is evidence that the public is being been duped.
On Truth Social he wrote that, if true, it constitutes "election interference."
"Has anyone noticed that Kamala CHEATED at the airport? There was nobody at the plane, and she 'A.I.’d”'it, and showed a massive 'crowd' of so-called followers, BUT THEY DIDN’T EXIST! She was turned in by a maintenance worker at the airport when he noticed the fake crowd picture, but there was nobody there, later confirmed by the reflection of the mirror like finish on the Vice Presidential Plane. She’s a CHEATER. She had NOBODY waiting, and the 'crowd' looked like 10,000 people!"
"Same thing is happening with her fake 'crowds' at her speeches. This is the way the Democrats win Elections, by CHEATING - And they’re even worse at the Ballot Box. She should be disqualified because the creation of a fake image is ELECTION INTERFERENCE. Anyone who does that will cheat at ANYTHING!" he continued.
He later added, "EVERYTHING ABOUT KAMALA IS FAKE!"

So Musk and Trump are doing an interview today. I think this could go badly for both men. For Musk, if he doesn't fact check Trump, Harris's campaign certainly will. And this could lead to a lot of people demanding that the interview gets taken down. For Trump, it will be the same old, same old. And more evidence of his increasing decline.

Re: U.S. Presidential Election 2024
Look, general bone spurs being off his rocker isn't exactly news. What you should be paying attention to is the crap he and his people have in place to disregard the vote and install him no matter the electoral outcome.
Remember the 70 or so election officials across the country that are ready to stop state certification? I tried to tell you before, he aint winging it, this time. He's got a plan in place to force the vote to the house of reps and there you'll have 1 vote per state, not by population size, but by which party controls it. This is probably why he isn't giving much of a crap about campaigning. And it will all be "legal".
And to add too, and while everything will be disputed and lawsuits will fly, remember who is sitting in the supreme court and the lengths they'll go to to protect their ability to remain in power. And by the project 2025 play book, all these federal employees that have never before been classified as political appointees will suddenly become just that and removed and replaced with maga sycophants. It will be too late for anything to be done by voting or writing angry things on twitter or whatever.
