Thanks¡¡
Please Creidiki make all the corrections/improvements needed, in any case i will repost the final versions to a final check.
I need to tease the loadsceens cause im feel insecure with the english expressions and the grammar. Any help will be welcome. In the meantime im working on better backgrounds.
A revisitation of my deep red background, less intrusive, not so contrasted. This sectors have less general luminance. Im also cleaned some blurry stars.

Hi connary, will you be resizing the Sun in SOL ? In sectors from Jupiter and beyong, the Sun is too huge! I launched excellent astro program called Celestia ( http://www.shatters.net/celestia/ ) to see how our sun looks from Jupiter ... and it is small, because of huge distance.
Elite Dangerous| I survived the Dragon Incident ... then I took an arrow to the knee

Gotta agree with chobit. It's fine for the rest of the X-Universe to be of a fantastical nature, but the Terran sectors should feel familiar to us when we enter them. That to me is the whole draw of being there. It makes a connection to the here and now. The Terran sectors in this mod just feel drab and dull with that beige background. I really like all the other changes, but I won't be installing this mod in my game because of the Terran sectors. Sorry.chobit-389 wrote:Very true, but still throws me off when i play it then look outside at nightMakita wrote:I think it's 110% better then vanilla, and on another note i feel like i'm playing a new game. Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

Well, you could edit the background for those sectors back to normal. As you don't need to start a new game (or use the savegame converter) to get other backgrounds - hell, I'll do it for you if you want!Nanook wrote: Gotta agree with chobit. Just got back here from an other forum where there was less leeway to a carefree joyful attitude, so I feel magnanimous

Exactly what I was thinking. The only "problem", which is probably not the correct word, is that I think that splendid connery chap has been moving suns about in his God like magnificance. It's not just the backgrounds that have changed? But you're right, it wouldn't take too much effort to replace the Terran Sectors with their old backgrounds & lighting, and the good old yellow sun (at the right size).
Just downloaded that Celestia program, it's brill...

If you like connary work, use it. If not, just don'tThe only "problem", which is probably not the correct word, is that I think that splendid connery chap has been moving suns about in his God like magnificance.

Of cause you're free to edit it in your game as you want. But vanilla solar system is not the best, there are mods with reworked versions.
I do like. He did great job with illumination and background. I like new Home of Light for example. As for Terran sectors, I'm prefer to live in Comonwealth
