Greetings to all star gazers and vacuumed space aviators
It is the first time I post anything in the forums. The reason for doing so is this excellent mod. I came back to X3TC after a long time of pause because of X3TC-XRM. I must congratulate all the authors of every different mod that is included in it and of course Paul Wheeler and Mizuchi for making this happen. Also I must pay my respects to Paul for his constant effort to improve, correct and explain the various aspects of this add-on with stamina and patience for the ignorant ones - often repeating instructions and how-to's with no irritation or judgmental attitude. After all it's his own free-real life time that he spends for us (helping us to lose more of own own free life time by enjoying his mod
).
Also a big thanks to the rest of the community for helping the rest of us newbies to get the most out of this great game. (I'm surprised when I think how many hours I have spend in the forums comparing them with the hours that I actually have played the game
)
Now... I have made a fresh install of X3Ap tonight as soon as I've read that the XRM-AP is out and working. I was playing XRM-TC for the last 2 months and hadn't touched AP, waiting for the XRM-AP to come out, certain that the game would from the start be much more satisfying than the vanilla one. I already have a list of mods that I would like to install apart XRM and it would be great if someone could confirm that I won't have any conflicts with the base game (which is X3AP with XRM-AP).

) The order is random and I think I know how to install them all. I know that for many of them the answer is already given but I have included all, just in case some of them are not compatible with each other and the AP or the XRM-AP.
I would appreciate any suggestions, opinions on balance and/or advices for a more satisfying game than the above can provide. Also some of the above could be obsolete and not needed anymore or a newer version should be acquired.

I will probably need to put together a patch to make the TC plots in AP mod work. It'll certainly need the old TC-XRM map and jobs rather than the new AP ones.PRiME2007 wrote:HMMM First thing I tried was Rogue Xenon and it crashes right after the PING noise at blank screen when its loading.. Also, make sure you have installed to the addons folder.

That list looks ok. Make sure you follow the compatibility instructions for EED. Also, you'll need a new wall file for Bounce.

actually my game just crashes now on any plot for the game.. Odd, vanilla reinstalled copy several times too...
Ok fixed, it was because I had my files extract for types (wanted to inspect them). Deleted those and all is fine. Epic pause at start of game however, that must be some crazy script loading! LOL
Uggg... now my window pop-up message etc text is too large and all.. damnit.

Unsure about above but here is my weird problem. Popup text massive, most does not fit on screen.

Many other screens don't fit on the screen LOL. Its completely messed, this is the best image I should show what the script editor looks like, only 1/3rd shows on screen. WTF !
UPDATE: I'll figure it out, just one of the mods installed wrong I guess.

I believe that missile safety, or some form of it, is now included in the vanilla AP 1.1. However, I think it only applies to the player ship.Methexis wrote:missile_safety
