the war sectors dont appear red on the map no.
I used to list PC parts here, but "the best" will suffice!

It's OK. I know what's causing this - the bragi and Kyoto have the same id. Ill sort it.

Trails are the same as they always have been. They are fine for me.

Trails are the same as they always have been. They are fine for me.
I understand. I just have the base XRM installed.

Its only when being fired on that the trail drops to nothing then reappears. Did you try this?

I cant imagine I am the only one that has seen this. Its easy to recreate the conditions.

EDIT: To be clearer the trail "smoke" dissapears but the light at the engine doesnt.

Got a problem, in maccalum relay i see lots of Terran mamoths and Terran bio transporters wich are argon mamoths.

Sounds like a mod conflict. Are you using any mods that modify any type file (rather than just tships) other than XRM?

alright finally managed to be accepted by the terrans, although it dropped my argon reputation to suspected foes...


however, I'm still known AGI sympathizer, now, how can I fix this ATF notoriety without cheating???

Aside from being rather orange there... you can't change the ATF rep without cheating. It's a limitation of the game.

I am looking at ways of implementing atf rep gain. Its only because they don't own any sectors and don't have any missions.



@ morikaane and dougeye - can you put all the bugs you've spotted into a pm for me? They're all fixable. I'm going to try and do a bug hunt tomorrow (having a break today).

well well well, according to the game start background story I was being kicked from sol because I refused to follow orders from crazed ATF commander, so now lets pretend that I got back to sol, hired a top lawyer, launched counter court martial against that commander and won

so is that it? really no way to solve this without cheating? to the cheattttt.....!

but why ATF flight school shipyard using terran reputation to sell it's ships than ATF reputation? :lol:

So you can't buy a Valhalla whilst being an Enemy of Sol ;)

...but seriously, to prevent the player from purchasing high tech ships without having the 'rep' for it since you have max ATF rep at the very start of the game.

There are some engine limitations that can be fixed to some extent by using mods, but there are others that can´t be fixed. It´s not the modders fault (we have to thank them for giving us so much content for free actualy).

I noticed there's still MAM Warhead, I thought all ammo based weapons already converted into energy based?

what are advanced and military scanner?

ATF rep it's only plot mark, not real working rep (you cannot loose it whatever you do for example). Simplest way of dealing with that is to make ATF ships purchasing linked with Terran, not ATF rep. Makes sense.

MAML warhead is just common good now. As weapon component or quantum tube.

Advanced = mk2
Military = mk3

(we need XRM FAQ ASAP ;)

The ammo is still there as a tradable ware, but it's not required to fire.

Advanced scanner is a better scanner for your ships (about the range of vanilla triplex)

Military scanner is a capital class scanner with a huge range.
