If you have a save before delivering Pearl and Heywood, you could always try editing the 2.004 Terran Plot Scene 4.xml so it uses a different sector.

Code: Select all

<find_sector name="L2M004.Unknown" x="20" y="5" exact="0"/>
It would need a West gate to avoid over complicating things, so Unknowns by PTNI and Mists of Elysium and Avarice are potentials. (doesn't even have to be an unknown...}

Might work, if it doesn't you're no worse off.... :P

Yep, it requires a restart. If you simply drop in the cat/dat files the sectors will change but planets may have nebula across them in a wierd fashion and stars may be out of position.

There is s/w out there that tries to help you save in-game stuff however between restarts, try this...?

sooo how do I know it's correct or not?

I tried starting a new game and Uranus is covered by blue vapor.... is that normal??? I feel not?! :?

does cat/dat positioning matters? I have CMOD/SRM packs installed before this :?
I have the same problem, please respond.

Here I made a screenshot, Uranus is just a blue mass without any surface structure. http://s1.directupload.net/images/110723/h84nxjsj.jpg

I'm doing everything in my power to get a stable game going with this mod. It took my breath away. "My wife asked me what moving I was watching." If you want a breath taking visual change, yes it's worth it. Right now I'm testing it with the Ship Rebalance Mod (SRM), X3 Rebalance Mod (XRM) and Event Horixon Script (EHS). It makes your jump gates HD.

If I get a stable game I'll let you know.

Not intended for a intense and long gameplay, use at your own risk.
I have a great and powerful machine, what did you mean by this?

Compatibility with Immersive Environments: Install the IE base mod to a lower cat/dat than the XRM. You will lose the universe changes IE makes, but you will still see the new backgrounds.
(Paulwheeler, SRM)

I'm getting happy. So far so good.

Drop me a PM with your external email address and I'll see what I can do... I've been working on a little something which (when/if finished) adds back some version 1 stuff along with "Hubble" and a few little extras ;-)

Watch your tone young padawan. People might not know, not have time to post, not give a dam, not read this topic at all. Plenty of reasons to why no answer was given yet.
Given the OP is not been around for quite some time now and usually being not polite just gets you ignored, Id say you either wait it out or try and find the solution yourself. In any case ranting will get you nowhere.

MFG

I'm afraid that altho' the second release was better than the first it does contain a few glitches including Uranus being too bright. You'll also find the Paranid sectors looking a bit wierd also. I think if you go thru' the thread from about half way thru' you might find a fix or two.

So, it is normal that Uranus looks like this: http://s1.directupload.net/images/110723/h84nxjsj.jpg

EDIT: Actually, it cant be. Because the first post has a screenshot of Uranus.

It's dead until Connery graces us with his presence once more.

Hey people¡¡ Sorry for the abandon of the mod. I changed home.
Anyone have any interest in a new version? I got a final version (well, need some beta as always, you know I have certain tendency to make some sectors implode). I suppose no one will care but i will upload the mod if someone ask.

See you
