Hi All..
Had laggy sectors before when playing FL, but its happened again and this time I noticed that this is only when medium planets are in view in particular sectors. Currently I am getting this in Getsu Fune and Akeela's Beacon beta..
The lag is right through the game, in all menus and actions, as long as the planet is in view, if I point in a direction that does not show the planet, the lag disappears..
Am running the GOG Linux version (Ubuntu 18.04), have a Xeon 10 core processor, 64Gb DDR4 ram and an 8Gb Nividia 1070 Gpu, so the system should be able to easily run the game. I have searched for other posts relating to lag and saw a few from way back where Cycrow had stated it would be fixed in ver 1.2, unless I am looking in the wrong place, it looks like I am running 3.4..
Any ideas folks?
Quick update, I think it is the rotating planets that cause the issue.. Just been round a few sectors where the planets/moons are static and there is no lag there..
Update.. Rebooted, then went to the previous to last save game, and now no lag! Sigh.. No idea what now caused it, or cured it, but it worked so cant complain.. Will certainly save more often now..

Yeeeesss!!!
Sorted.. Switched off 'Automatic Quality' in the startup graphics settings and it all runs sweet as now.. Tried multiple sectors that were lagging, smooth as butter now..
