Well, it will be very hard to do. Or, if you have got some good transletors...
The mod is concentrated on a good story but not on having as much EVE Ships as possible. I have even some speakers, who will speak the dialogues, but in German.
If you want to do the same thing, you need some really good, patient and crazy modder like me :-D

I can't even say at 100% if the mod will be ever released in German, so I can't really deal.
But, if the EVE Mod is ready there wouldn't be any thing, that I say "No, you aren't allowed to translate it.". Of course you are ;-)
And you will be of course mentioned in the credits as an extern worker^^

Up to your Mod I can say, that the textures are even better then in the Sector Size & Background Mod, not all, but many. But the Mod by spacefueladict makes the sectors much bigger and it is really helpfull for the story and for the work, so we don't need to change the map.
But your textures are more fitting to the EVE universe than to X, spacefueladditct's textures looks really good in X-sectors.

I suppose you understand its a joke, you can use my textures if follow the conditions of the creative commons license that this mod are under.
You can see the details in the mod readme.
In other side of things i dont thing so that my textures fit better in a EVE universe than a X universe. The reality its that some of my textures are near the art direction of the EVE game but its a very different matter. The vanilla X backgrounds IMHO dont help at all to catch the maximum of the detail of the most important thing in the game: The ships. This new art direction (near the EVE one in some cases) can help to make ships more visible in his details and greatness.

My english its also deficient but i hope we can understand each other.

BTW connary, if you could, do something about Priest Rings sector, west of Paranid Prime. In the description it says "ringed planet terraformed by the Paranid" but the thing is this sector doesn't have any planets at all! :o Not even without rings... For some reason nobody ever done anything for that system and I never seen people say anything about it... Nobody cares?

e1team i modified priest rings. Yes, originally only a planet without rings hide by the paranid background.
Im making extensive graphical modifications to all the sectors following strictly the sector description. I found several inconsistencies between these description and the real layout of the sector.All of this has been changed.
Also new backgrounds will make his appearance.
The terran background has been changed maintaining the same feeling without the horizontal (horizon) scheme that result in a very deformed view in some cases.

CAUTION this mod version its only for beta testing purposes

Thank you so much! :) It always bugged me that this system had no planet. Awaiting anxiously for the next version. :)

has Ore Belt been done? or does it happen to be the sector that changes nebulae from Argon Primes Blue?

What can I say. This mod is excellent and actually after taking a break I came back to TC because of this mod, so accept my gratitude connary - great job. Game is really enjoyable and very aesthetic when it comes to visualisation of what's in the sector.

I have a small suggestion. In heavens Asserion we used to have very nice blue nebula while your mod brings the Ring Nebule into the background, surely it looks spectacular but with such luminous object in the nearby this sector should be flooded with ultra bright light
How about bringing this sector to something close with the original. My proposition is M45 Pleiades http://bit.ly/dl8HQN, a small star cluster sitting in the blue nebula, and hey we dont have any star clusters yet ;)

holy crap that's a freaking huge map!

Understandably Ore Belt would have its red environment but perhaps Home of Light could have like a transitional environment, with a small amount of blue towards the north and red at its south side. judging by that map it would be more red though.

My biggest concern is how the bigger sectors change the Poisoned Paranid plot. Where it took 10-15 minutes to go across a sector, now it takes 20-30 minutes easy. I don't know how I'll manage!

Have a look for example. Ore belt sector is situated between Herrons Nebula (Blue) and Garlos Cloud (Red).

The sector description: "...the nearby nova was seen by many to be a gateway to highter dimension...."
We need here something that brings the feeling of something mystical and special, the eye of god its perfect for this description. This ring seems a nova, looks like an explosion and its center seems imho a door to outer worlds.
The original game used the bluenova background (indicative name) but looks like a version of the same nebula but in blue.

The Paranids cannot be all mistaken, definitely this sector must look different from the surrounding sectors.

I dont make any change to the Ore belt sector Icefire909.

Like eteam said this mod dont changes the size of the sectors Bobucles.

New terran sectors look:

Very nice! I love the flare of the sun in the first screen. The star itself is yellow while the flare is blue. Looks very good. :)
