I would just wait for the new version, though, since you'll have to restart anywaychobit-389 wrote: BOUT BLOODY TIME!!!!!!!LOOK OUT KHA'AK!!! YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey we're all looking forward. As you see connary's working really hard to deliver us really good product. Cut man some slack, it will be done when it's doneIgor.tverd wrote:Connary, any news on the release date? I'm really, really looking forward to it.

Im testing the entire map and adding more content to make the mod worth a new start. 90% of the sectors has been completely redo.
Added new planets, double size terrain images with new ocean textures and cleaned clouds. Its now interesting to see the details of the planet when rotates.

Sorry but no. Its the same image every time.TrixX wrote:Connary have you managed to get the loading bar to change depending on screen?
If so it's a great job
I would be very interested to know how
Anyone knows how to change the initial scene?, the one with the game start options. I dont want a terran sector for the initial look of the game.
I will be grateful if anyone can help me to change this scene.

The Hubble images from Realspace's one was so breathtaking, right?riky69 wrote:Nice mod! So realistic...
I would give you a suggestion... I don t know why egosoft did the skies so brightless. Could you give more stars in the background and make them more brilliant? As if we really looked from the space.

From the screenshots so far I don't doubt that there's enough content already to make it worth a new start.connary wrote:Im testing the entire map and adding more content to make the mod worth a new start.

I've been patiently holding off on starting a new game until this comes out. It's amazing how productive I've been IRL in the meantime with no X3 to burn up my time.

Yeah i m referring exactly to this mod. I think it could be more immersive and realistic if he will use a similar sky background. For example:Bacfe wrote:The Hubble images from Realspace's one was so breathtaking, right?riky69 wrote:Nice mod! So realistic...

The bottom two pictures are very atmospheric. As far a I know, the implementation of those stars wouldn't need a restart. So connary could add them later.riky69 wrote:Yeah i m referring exactly to this mod. I think it could be more immersive and realistic if he will use a similar sky background. Noob question:
I installed the xtra ships mod and have this one as well.
In my "activate mod" panel before I launch the game I can only highlight one of the two before launching.
Does this mean that only one works at a time? Or are they both activated at the same time?
Also, what does the "original" button do if I click on it?
Thanks in advance for helping out a noobie.

Was about to start a new modded game before I stumbled on this beauty.
Flying around and testing, love the new look of a lot of the sectors, definitely makes them very memorable and atmospheric. I completely agree with the creators concept of giving a "feeling" to sectors, some being friendly, some oppressive and some scary, and this mod does it well with his use of illumination and great backgrounds (especially for a 1st release!).
Good job on the fog aswell, greatly improved on the original, I really like the denseness to it making fighting in those sectors (especially if there unmapped) a real fun challenge with asteroids / stations appearing out of the fog in a more realistic way.
Happy to postpone starting a new game for the next release, having read this thread it is bound to be a real work of art as it's obvious the creator is a perfectionist! (in a good way, though not for impatient folk like myself
).
Many thanks for creating this and keep up the great work, don't worry if the Solar system isn't perfect, it's a boring piece of space anyway
