Sorry guys. I had been very occupied lately and finally I got flu (is this a real word for a common illness? in any case the translator give this). I cant mod right now and I dont know when I will get the time. I decided to upload the mod in his current state as a version 1.1.

Basically its the mod finished with the exception of the ANH sectors and the new sector added in the xuniverse 2.0.
This version adds lots of tweaks, modifications, new material and a working solar system taking in consideration the final black design.

Hi connary.

I downloaded version 1.1. But the folders maps and types seems to be missing in the cat archive. Is this intended?

Thanx for the upload. I assume since you said the work has stopped for the foreseeable future, I will start a new game tonight, and assume a final date some months in the future....

Let me thank You vigorously for your time, expertise and dedication to this 2-year peoject (140,000+ views). Your efforts bring further value to the most valuable game i own, and the eye candy still amazes me....

My post of 30sept11 was inquiring about optimized nVidia graphic settings for your work to be displayed the best and most eeficient way. I was hoping some of your expert assistants might chime in, but alas no.

Would it be possible to ask about this? Could you offer insight similar to the expert referenced in my post?
I am sure Hundreds of us would be very interested in anything you care to share about your work....

Whoa the flu, my head doesnt work at is fullest, well, it never does.

Thanks for your king words GeminiFire. Has been a bumpy ride with entire imploding sectors, hahaha. But im proud of the final results.
Im using updated drivers for my nvidia card without any problem (im using latest). For me the most killing thing to play this game its a dirty and fragmented HDD. The graphics are really old, any recent driver can do the work perfectly.
You await my final? my end? my demise? XD Let me go to bed now.

1. I await your Final PRODUCT!!! I hope we see your work in the future, for games to come. I will always try to monitor your activities with respect to games.

2. No Apology Required!! We all know about RL intrusions into our X-Worlds, and there is NO Doubt about how much work this has required of you and your testers. Many of us are also dealing with the "Cold & Flu Season". I hope you Get Well Soon, and that your Family is not suffering the same...

Edit: I am unsure what is missing with his upload today. IE1.0 had 2 files for the MODS folder (cat & dat) with PDF and Txt file. IE1.1 contains 2 files (.cat & .dat) that I am assuming go in the MODS folder. Can anyone enlighten me? Are the files uploaded today the only ones needed, as with 1.0?

Many thanks Connary and hope you feel better soon. Here is something to cheer you up. You can still get some odd things amongst the beauty if you combine IE (correctly as instructed) with the excellent XRM mod. Here is the square fried egg system in Tempestine:

They are highly incompatible. In this case i suppose XRM mod use a vanilla sol planet that behave in that way on top of a clear background, designed for a black one for sure. In any case an example that this two mods cant work together.

I can only recommend my mod with people playing AI or scripting mods. Never a mod that changes the universe.

But Hey, you has been the first to discover the egg plate sun, a very rare squared star that can change radically all the studies about the creation of cosmos. Paranid are very proud of his 'burning altar'.

Nice work there! Thanks for the update! I hope someone will make a XRM compatible version soon (tm). Or can we delete the visual changes XRM does ourselfs? I have no clue.

If you put the IE cat before XRM the two will work together.

Gotcha! Thank you. I believe it's working now and i already could see
some of the new enviroments (like blue clouds in Omicron Lyrae),
but i am not sure if the greenish texture on one of the planets
in Heretic's End is as intended.

New Income looks totally different with IE. XRM is incompatible with IE!

Absolutely intended Jonas¡¡ Free you mind pilot.
You are in Boron space. This are the underwater lights in a boron planet, organic shaped and green as all the boron ship's lights.

My mod changes are uncompatible with XRM mod for sure.
