Mine worked fine. However, it doesn't hurt trying that suggestion. Give it a shot and let everyone know if it works or not.
Wait a second... did you enable the script editor and then reload your save? You need to do that first (read below on how to do that).
Cheers,

hm what? since I'm using mars already, do I still need to restart? as I said in my update, the generator already in the cheat list but not sold...
okay I'm trying to re enable my script editor and reload...
self quote
no, didn't work, adding salvage claim software did nothing...
does the fact that I don't have a capital ship yet is the problem? does the ecell generator magically appeared when I have a capital ship??? I assume that I must be able to see it being sold somewhere right?
weird... especially if I'm the only one having this problem...
you need to be in a cap ship, with the e cell generator install and the salvage claim software, then go to your command consul and hit special and the command willl appear. sorry for not clarifying i fell asleep after i posted my last attempt to help.
sorry for this flood posts, talking to 2 different people with different answer doesn't help it lol
aha sooooo... ecell generator and salvage claim software somehow merged into one ware??? is that it???
I'm thoroughly enjoying my new game with XRM and MBRR, but I can't for the life of me find where to get the USC police license?
Marko
The USC Police License has been renamed the Boron Whaling Permit and is only for sale in the sector that opens up once you complete the HUB plot.
Enjoy farming 20,000 microchips!
(This is a joke. There is no USC Police License. There never has been. Egosoft didn't implement one, and due to hard-coded limitations, Paul can't go about doing so without modifying .obj files, which is a no-no on these boards.)

The USC Security License can be bought from every defence station in terran space... and a few other docks in Terran Space. It does not work like a 'police license' however. It only gives you access to the USC Military Intelligence Network. I think it is only available in XRM:AP.

You just couldn't resist bringing up that 'Boring Whaling Permit' again could you...

hm what's usc military intelligence network? and how do I access it?
I want to join the countless other that give you praises for the AP XRM, wow....it is awesome.
Now, I have a question, have anyone has experience problems with the Hepaistos company? I wanted to build a complex on Gamma 2, so I click on the shift K (which is the code I assigned), got the incoming message and after reading it, try to click ok and there it locks up?

Arrgh... for frak's sake...
You have to go to the game menu and select controls, go to the Interface Tab, scroll down to the bottom where it says 'Extensions' and assign a hotkey to XRM: Access Military Comms Network.
Oh... and it lets you have access to information about invasions and whatnot in that races sectors throught the universe. It's quite handy for helping you (well, me rather) to find those dirty Argon peasants (in Terran Space, because they're quite easy to find out of it).

another one, what's the requirement to trade stocks on terran stock exchange?

From the hepaistos corp known issues:
Problem: The game freezes, when confirming the initial Hephaistos Corp. message, if the player just has the Terran rank to buy stations. - Workaround: Increase your rank with one of the other races, so you can buy their stations.
For those who want to use the Capital Energy Cell Generator, you have to download the v1 (on google code). The other ones don't work (Tried to script them but it's a problem with ware manager I think)
The v1 isn't using Ware Manager, so, it works.
You'll just have to turn it on in AI or AL (don't know in english) options, and it will be available with the "supply software"
