Ok - thats probably fine. You'll know if its not right as you won't see factories for all the new xrm weapons.

Found a small not-really-a-bug-more-a-discrepancy. The Aquata Boron M1+ has Plasma Beam Cannon compatibility but no Ion Cannons. Bug? Feature? Either way, not game breaking by any means. Feel free to leave it alone/Wants a Boron ship with PBCs... :lol:

on the subject of ship balancing and loadouts :P

the baldric sentinel is a waste of a decent model lol make it uber expensive like 50 million and give it 20,000 cargo and 2 1gj sheilds, also reduce its spedd to around 70 and you have yourself the tycoons ts!

also make the player buy 15000 cargo bay extensions lol

i would edit it myself but for some reason when i select xrm tships with x editor 2 it fails to laod t bullets etc and the tships doesnt look right to me so ive left it alone. is there a trick to getting it to detect all the required files?
I used to list PC parts here, but "the best" will suffice!

Is the plot disabled or something for the argon peacekeeper? I finally got the mod working properly through the SPK but commander derik never messages about about rallying at the plot start position.

The vanilla AP plot is disabled for xrm ap in all starts at the moment, due to it being dependent on the vanilla "war" being active. I will try and get it working at some point.

Have you added the Kha'ak back in the AP version?

If their invasions were controlled by the jobs file and you ported it straight from TC then they might be back.
Admitting you have a problem is the first step in figuring out how to make it worse.

hey guys. I am new to this mod and i did my best to follow the mods instructions.

I downloaded the Main XRM , Cockpits with the HUD and Grav , and the Background.

I am running the new mod Albino Prelude the new steam release one.

Are there any other mods that are recommended for the Albino Prelude? I so a bunch of mods listed that were refered , but i am scared i will install a mod not intended for the Prelude.

Can some one give me some hints on which mods work well with XRM - Albino Prelude?

As for your question, many smaller scrips and mods work fine, but since this mod is very fresh, many things remain untested and nobody could guarantee that anything will work. however most of ppl here are using some kind of extra scripts successfully. More extensive rework mods as MBRR, IR and various pirate guilds are not recommended, because they are somewhat redundant and could lead to game overproducing ships etc.

So the mods i currently have installed are pretty much all i would need? Just making sure. I dont want to start a new campaign and miss out :(

What's up with the Jump beacons in Advanced Universe?

Can someone help me out? I've got XRM running on a fresh X3TC install with the Advanced Universe add-on (v1.0 from the first page on this thread). I believe I installed it properly as I can only jump to a very few sectors.

However, after playing over the weekend, I think some of the jump beacons have disappeared. For example, I've mostly just explored the terran sectors, and a few surrounding ones involved with the "follow that nova to its pirate base" part of the plot mission.

Currently I can actually jump to Dark Space Cluster, and Titan. I see North Jump Beacons in both of those.

McCallum Relay blinks white on the sector map when choosing jump sector as though I could actually jump there, but when I click on it I get sent to the sector map with no destination I can jump to (I can only see the regular South gate). I could be wrong, but I feel like I was able to jump to that sector earlier in the game.

At credits Received I can see a jump beacon (but it looks more like a satellite or something, different from the 2 in Terran space), and I can't jump to it. And again, I could've sworn that I had previously been able to jump into Credits Received.

And now on top of everything McCallum Relay no longer even blinks white when I do shift-J.

I feel like this X-universe is closing in on me..the jump points are disappearing..Or am I just losing my mind?

Okay..maybe I'm not totally crazy..I just started up a fresh new game..and before activating any of the AL plugins I used cycrow's cheater to get a ship with a jump drive and I revealed all sectors..Turns out now, with a fresh game, I CAN jump into McCallum Relay..There's a west jump beacon in there now..which doesn't exist in the other game I've been running for about 12+ hours now. But still no jumps available to credits received or ATF forseti, looks like I just remembered wrong.

Still, in a fresh game I can jump to McCallum Relay, and in the game I've been running I can't jump there anymore. What's going on, could the relay have been destroyed?

I just started a new game as Xenon Rogue and it's kinda intense now (maybe impossible) to get out of your start location. I'll consider it a challenge :)

Ahh..never mind, I figured out what went wrong..I had jumped into McCallum Relay , but was then forced to revert to an earlier save in which I hadn't yet explored that westernmost corner with the jump beacon. duh..

Maybe I've had enough staring at X3 for this weekend..this game can be very immersive.

Paul, take a look at this thread. Read the entire thing, it has some interesting information on OOS in AP.

Take note of what Gazz said about LTs and OWPs near the end of the second page.

Check their ship ID. If it has an 'I' in front then it's a pirate ship. Otherwise, it belongs to one of the other races.

This is probably a noob post (I just started playing this game), so bare with me, but...

It seems like I'm missing some ships that, according to the database, should be for sale at some stations. Specifically, I'm looking to buy a Mercury; which is listed at being both the shipyards in 'Argon Prime' and 'Cloudbase South East'. However, when I go to these stations and browse their wares, I don't see the Mercury in any form at all.

What I'm wondering is, did I install this mod wrong or something, or did it shuffle around where ships are available for purchase? This really sucks for me since there's absolutely no TS ships available that I can find, so getting an economy started up as it is is neigh impossible.
