Well if its not working for you then its not working for anyone. I suggest posting in the bounce thread to get some help for the problem you are having.

PBE is probably the best fighter vs fighter weapon out their, it's damage i agree is only average for the heavy fighter class of weapons....but and this is frikkin huge BUT....have you checked it bullet speed its 2000 m/s say against the Terran EMPC which is 900 m/s or the Paranid HEPT which is 1300 m/s or the Argon PRG which is 1600 m/s....its easily the most accurate fighter weapon out their, most of its shots hit target.....its truly lethal.

All split weapons are generally the best in class, as this makes up for their ships being the weakest shielded.

Bounce has been working for me.... although...........

Just mapped the whole of the Argon core including all asteroids scanned... just went to save and while my save choices were up and was about to save.... auto-pillok kicks in.... flies me straight into a boron M3 at a gate -.-

So Bounce mostly works! *hiccup*

Did you enable bounce with the hotkey?

Also from the bounce OP:
Once Bounce is engaged via hotkey, as a ship nears its target (ship or station), a collision avoidance routine is engaged to avoid the enemy ship or station. Also, when an enemy ship is not detected within 10 KM, AND there are no missiles currently locked onto a ship, your ships will ignore collisions. So you can have your formation without experiencing collisions with your other ships, neutral ships, asteroids, gates, or stations. Once an enemy is detected in 10 km, this feature is skipped, and Bounce avoidance checks are engaged. The player ship is not effected. Only player owned ships of all sizes.
At least your ships wont hit anymore of those poor innocent borons!

the hayabasa looks like a nice ship for a flagship possibly, but its soooo expensive :( it cost as much as a M2 :(

Yeah bounce is enabled :) I think it was a ship coming through at that split second wrong time.... unavoidable possibly. Made me laugh and cry at the same time.

Edit I was in a Disco Explorer manually doing the universe discovery as I've never mapped it manually to see all the XRM changes. Add to that I've installed IE and it's actually quite pleasant flying around seeing fat battles, nice backgrounds and all the systems I've always wanted to see.

Yeah. There really isnt anything like X out there. Atmosphere is such a huge part of this game. XRM is icing on the cake.

The Logich isn't all that different looking and is much cheaper as well as being faster, which is always nice for a personal ship.

Bounce wall file mod definitively won't work for me.

I don't know if this is related, but I have had stations randomly disappear from sectors (not destroyed). They are just gone.. Also some stations rename them selves.

Example: In the home of light there is cattle ranch alpha and cattle ranch beta, but after about 4 hours into the game, now they are both named "cattle ranch" with no distinction.

Nothing you posted looks like it would cause any issues. I cant say for sure because I dont use them all. Still they look fine based on what I know about how they work.

And by the way thanks for getting that damned song stuck in my head now.
Hi folks!

Just wanted to let you know I tried that GPU rendering setting in the nvidia control panel but no luck. I just dumped off a bunch of scripts and it seems to be better. It's kind of early to tell. Maybe the super frame drop sector change occurred after I had been playing the game for a few hours.

I might to back to the drawing board and remove the rebalance mod. Start from scratch with another base install and AP. Then go slowly adding mods to see if it's still stable after a few days of playing. Then add the mod and see if I get that serious frame drop.

Too bad though b/c the rebalance mod makes the game look so much better. Only thing I don't like is it SEEMS as though with my terran m6 I have no choice in putting quicker shooting lasers on the front of it. I forgot the name of the m6. It's the one you get when you start the terran commander mission.

Well, I created the wall for XRM 1.15, created a SPK for the mod because I hate doing it all manually. Installed the mod, went into the game, set the hotkey and turned it on. However, I deliberately ran strait into a very large boron ship and the normal thing happened... I just died and game over.

So not sure what's going on there.

It only works on AI-controlled ships.

Buy a bunch of Discoverers and order them to attack a Mammoth or something.
Admitting you have a problem is the first step in figuring out how to make it worse.

Yea I ran the test, it works fine. After the second tried I figured it was only to prevent your ships from ramming you, not the other way around.
