It's missing some key stuff, ie the top Xenon Cap. weapon, quantum shockwave cannons; always 0 in stock, and all the Khaak weapons too.

Other than that I find it great for trying out new ships I've acquired; enough stock to outfit one or two ships but not enough to use as your fleet armourer long term.

If everything is so accessible, why not making rare ships more accessible (eg. Iguana Vaguared, Falcon Sentinel, Scorpion Raider etc ...) ? If prototypes & advanced are available 'missing' version should be available as well...

So I have recently installed X3: Terran Conflict 2.0 and am fully patched. At first I was overwhelmed (starting as the Terran Defender) but I have since gotten into this game from a combat/scavenger perspective and it's a lot of fun.

I keep being told over and over that scripts/mods make everything better.

Having been referenced to this thread (and never playing any of the other x series games), is this the most comprehensive mod package available for X3: TC2.0? Also, is there anything that can be added to this comprehensive package to make it ... more inclusive? I'm looking for an epic game so to speak.

When I fire up Heph corp ship builders script via hotkey the game locks up. Could someone running the latest version (AP) check to see if it works for them? Mine locks up after I hit the hotkey, read the message and select ok right before the selection window pops up.

AP Plots...

First I have to say that I jumped right into XRM (AP) without ever playing X3AP, so I'm not 100% on how to start the plots, but I haven't been able to start the AP plots in XRM. I'm playing the Argon start that begins in the Argon Military Sector in an Eclipse. I think the plot trigger is supposed to be in that sector, but I can't find it. Are the AP plots available in XRM, and if not is the Hub available in a non cheat way?

AP plots are not in XRM, hub and phq are in tho. This should be added in huge red text as the first line in page one ;)

Only the main AP plot is not available (and by all accounts you're not missing much).

Both the PHQ and HUB plots are available once you meet the starting criteria:

So, what is in the 1.20 list so far?

Im hoping for some p2p mass-jump for player cap-ships. Like i said before, ships jump inside eachother causing heavy friendly fire and jump in rather slowly to begin with.

A small, maybe a bit personal request in hopes of seeing some hilarious fighter battles. Racing ships with a single gun mount ^^

I was wondering if there is a comprehensive list of stats of all the items in the game.
I have the spreadsheet but especially for ships there is no info on things like no of guns, type of mountable weapons etc.
This makes it very hard while deciding which ship to buy.
Any suggestions ?

Also I think the spreadsheet is public access, so help Paul out by filling it in yourself, or even making something unique, if you desire.

use the ingame encyclopedia for ship stats and weapons etc, yes you have to search for each ship you want to look at but it gives you something to do on a long trading run ;)
I used to list PC parts here, but "the best" will suffice!

This is just for TC users. It fixes the price of the Jump Drive Deployment Kit.

You only need to update the part 2 cat/dat.

AP users do not need to bother with this update.

On a separate note, dunno whether this is the right thread to ask suggestions in but since it relates to the mod. If you believe this will derail the thread too much please pm me the replies. I need suggestions for the following. In brackets I have put my suggestion
Ships for the following purpose.

Sector Trader ( Mistral, Demeter Prototype )
Universal trader ( Mistral Super Frieghter)
For Boarding ( Cobra )

The in-game encyclopaedia only shows objects you have actually encountered.

The cheat scripts have an option to reveal all objects in the encyclopaedia - In my opinion this should be standard. After all even wikipedia (hell - any old encyclopaedia) shows things you may not have encountered. For information like that to be hidden is a bit silly IMO.

The only problem with doing that is it shows some objects which are not actually in the game as well. Not many though.

Universal trader ( Dolphin Tanker XL, Mercury Tanker XL, Vulture Tanker)

as paul said only ships you have encountered or ships available in shipyards you have encountered so realisticly if you dont know were to buy them your also stuck lol once you have encountered a ship though it will list all shipyards that stock that ship if i remember correctly.

QUESTION: Terran / ATF weapons

What is the weapon to the foremost right in the table of mountable guns. Many vessels have a bright near-white bracket lit up after PSP and FBC, yet no gun seems listed... Bug or a X3AP oddity?

its sort of a bug, Paul said there is no way to avoid it, so its just there and you can ignore it as there is no corresponding gun
