I know you were seeking a stronger word. Unnecessary is the right direction, but falls so far short. I can't think of anything either though.clakclak wrote:This was death was so....unnecessary.

Why a spoon? BECAUSE IT WILL HURT MORE!

I was always glad to know that Rickman was in a role in a movie that I was going to watch. He was so intense! Even in "Something the Lord Made", his he had an energy that was unmistakable and transfixing.
In "Die Hard", I was sorry to see his character die. Why? Because, then we wouldn't get to see him try to take his revenge in "Die Hard II!"
Another great actor, one of the best, takes the final curtain.

The Aliens are silent because they are dead...
"Life on other planets would probably go extinct soon after its origin, due to runaway heating or cooling on their fledgling planets..."
Well, there goes my dream of beautiful green-skinned alien women with multiple appendages and interesting... jiggles.

Today is International Data Privacy Day!
So... UPDATE YOUR STUFFS!
Update your browsers, old programs, old utilities you rarely use, drivers, game software, printer drivers, mouse drivers, etc...
Get all your drivers and software up-to-date, today, in celebration!
By the way, just a tip: When doing major driver updates, or critical hardware updates, its always a good idea to create a System Restore Point (Windows). For those in need, here's how (Win7, though is similar in all supporting versions) : http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... tore-point

- Oil is 100$/barrel: we have to increase price, add more fee to be viable.
- Oil is 30$/barrel: think we gonna reduce price? Nah. It just means we will be posting record profit.
Oh yeah, and if oil go back to 100$/barrel again, don't expect we keep the same price. We will increase it accordingly (even though we never decrease it), after all we love the profit margin we have.

... because the price of fuel isn't the major cost for Taxi's or Buses? Nor is the production cost of oil the major defining factor in the price of fuel at the pump (for us). Nor is the cost of fuel a hugely defining factor in the cost of a flight?BugMeister wrote:- with the price/cost of fuel plummeting as it has recently, why

Unsure if people are just taking the piss or not. A bus to buy costs £200,000-£500,000 and has operating, staffing and more costs on top. A car for taxi - £20,000? An passenger jet costs up to £120,000,000 to buy?
Fuel costs (at the pump to us) is mainly tax, hence why it's not dropped significantly compared to the price per barrel.
Just think how much a taxi costs to go distance x, and how much it costs in a car to drive said distance. The two have never tallied, so why do you think the prices should noticeably change all of a sudden? They won't.
Same for flights...
History of jet fuel cost:
http://www.iata.org/publications/econom ... lysis.aspx
That'd translate into £14 reduction in transatlantic flight price per passenger on a full plane. How many flights are 100% full, how many aren't, and what effect does that have on fuel use and who absorbs those costs?
What exactly did you imagine it should be?

All I can say is ... holy shit. Always think the dude is a bit on the crazy side but this? I know it can't be helped you get spammed by politician on election day ... but this is scam. I wonder if people can make a lawsuit out of this, (and if they can I hope they will).
He already tries to blackmail before he becomes the prez
