George Kennedy, actor in many many movies, is dead.

Dammit the year is only two month old and so many artists are dead.
I've always liked George Kennedy. I can't think of any role I can remember him in where he didn't do a stellar job. ("Cool Hand Luke" and "Flight of the Phoenix" are two favorites of mine.)

People can die. It doesn't mean they always will, though. One day, we may achieve the technology to extend our lives as long as we wish. What will we think about how people of this age morn dead celebrities and other notables, then?

Yup, it just got raised.

It's gotta be alcohol. It's involved, somehow, it has to be. Either that or drugs. And, a 19yr old and a 66yr old? That doesn't make sense, either.

Was there a goat involved anywhere? Story needs a goat... :)

Not sure about that, if they just got on a car and hit the pedal than maybe it's alcohol. But they managed to broke into a fire station and steal a truck ... so they should be plenty sober. If you're drunk to the degree that the idea of stealing a firetruck for a joydrive somehow seems to be a good idea, I think you would be too drunk to open a normal door with the key in hand, much less to pick a secure lock.

Vantablack, the company that made the blackest thing a couple of years ago.

Sure is, reminds me of Hotblack Desiato's limo in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
A ship so black light just seems to fall into it, a ship so black you couldn't even touch it.

If memory serves it wasn't a limo. It was his stunt ship - the one that flew into a star at a key point in the song.

At least I hope it wasn't his limo. Perhaps that explains why he's spending a year dead

One detail that made little sense was it's being frictionless. It's a space ship. Why on Golgafrincham would they need to worry about friction?

It might need to land on a planet? That ship had a number of other features that were entirely useless in a ship that was only ever going to make one trip, including the half-built teleporter Zaphod and the others used to escape...

A pro-gun woman who had set up facebook pages promoting 'gun sense' has been shot by her 4 year old son through the seat of her car when her son found a .45 on the floor of the back seats. She's stable in hospital.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-35767484?

Cruel irony. She really could have done with some gun sense herself.

Aye your right, the limo was parked next to the stunt ship
