Most amusing thing is the lazy reporting "we'll just embed" from twitter that nearly all media take.

Media using "Twitter" as a source ignores the fact it's got zero accountability and so the "evidence" vanishes. So why keep linking/mentioning it in stories/reports today then.

After Trump managed to narrowly avoid death, it seems as if will now be Joe Biden who needs luck. Apparently he contracted Corona which at his age certainly is dangerous and might lead to a further decline in his health condition.

I think the other problem is, how many of those people who Biden has touched, been vaccinated? or believe that Covid is still a myth? I wager a good number of them hasn't been. And if something does happen to him, it will be denials still from both camps. I don't want him to die, but if he does, it will not be good. Trump will still probably claim it was something else. And might take advantage of that. (in a bad way)

I do hope Biden recovers. but yes, his age is a concern.

I was thinking more about those in republican areas and such. Even if the administration is encouraging vaccinations, there are still a good chunk of Americans that still are thinking that its a myth, and won't get vaccinated period. So the message isn't strong enough, even if there is a message to get the shot.

Kamala Harris was probably running most of the stuff while Biden was in office anyways. More likely a continuation. Maybe this should be their platform to an extent? Platform - She was running the country anyways but is open to some popular changes and suggestions???? Best of both?

Biden was too old and was showing the signs of very old age but had a good image. Trump 78 is showing his old age also and it's becoming worse. It's good to have a candidate that's a reasonable age and probably won't die in office.

Next debate should be interesting. A chance to nail Trump on his lies.

Statistically Biden might have been slightly better then Harris which is why they kept him as the front man. Statistics seem to be often wrong when it comes to elections.

That didn't take long, Trump bashing Biden for dropping out of the race, and claiming he never had Covid.

As for Biden, I think he made the right call. now its Trump's turn to drop out of the race! (I know, he won't, but he should) The next presidential debate will be interesting, and hopefully nail Trump the wall. And if the mods don't do their work, then there will be calls to get them fired. Hopefully Trump's BS will be called out. Biden clearly didn't cut it, but hopefully if Harris takes the nomination, she might do some good.

Lets hope so, as democracy will shatter if she fails.

Kamala Harris clearest week point, at least from a Republican point of view, is that she is a woman. Trump’s running mate has allready begun to level sexism against her, calling her a crazy cat lady that ‘does not have a stacke in America’ because she does not have children (she does actually have children, but they are not her biological children so I guess from their point of view that does not count).

I assume they will continue to attack her with stuff like that, I am just not sure how well it will work.
