Russia can't manufacture enough modern tanks to keep up with their losses so they rely on older stuff. Eventually the older tanks will run out too.

On the other hand Western militaries say that Russia produces 1500 tanks per year and is stockpiling them and may prepare an attack on European soil. Meanwhile Europes critical infrastructure is being heavily spied out and attacked.

Currently in media you will find two statements: "Russia will run short of tanks/personal/ammunition" (not happened since 2022) and on the other hand "Russia is in full war economy and is preparing for a major war".
Currently I am more willing to believe the latter honestly.

That's BS - 1500 could be attained only, if counting refurbishment and demonthballing of those Soviet Union depots, that are starting to run dry.
Russia total yearly capacity of COMPLETELY new tanks is 150 on a good day (with no sanctions and equipment shortage).
In last 2 years Russia produced about 200 brand new T-90 and thats all.
T-72B3 is entirely refurbishment of stock T-72 and it's running out.
T-80 production still hasn't been restarted, despite Putin grandiose announcements.

Even current T-90 production is not sustainable and Russia is thinking about making lower tech and easier to produce tank that will be some kind of hybrid between T-90 and T-72B3.

If Russia would build 1500 brand new tanks, they wouldn't be burning through early cold war T-62 and T-55.

There: (just now)
Drone sightings over Ramstein [...] in the evening hours of Dec. 3 and 4

[...] drones were also sighted over locations belonging to German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall and chemicals group BASF.

Drones have been spotted flying over strategically important facilities in Germany in recent months, including a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Brunsbuettel close to the North Sea.

As said - it is but one example of many. That guardian article is about the Czechs investigations. Mi6 is on it (check e.g. Reuters), there are ongoing cyberattacks on German infrastructure, Tamina posted yet another thing happening in Germany. Finnland and Sweden are constantly on the lookout.

it depends on what kind of war one imagines

Russia is okay with long destabilizing conflicts as it tries to separate countries from its allies. Hoping that with promise of cheap gas and threat of nuclear war, most countries will accept Russia's vision of the world

I would say Russia has means to do that

You can claim "they" don't know anything - but which is more likely to be accurate... theirs or yours.

As far as I'm concerned, believe what you want.

Wars have already been started because trusted people with a container in their hand told the UN that it contained poison gas. :gruebel: It was a lie
And others believe, appropriately, in Santa Claus :gruebel: Ok, im guilty. But it helps with the kids.

@Tamina: But back to the claim, where did RU now start an attack on infrastructure? flying drones are no attack, what i know

Unfortunately when such statements are made, unless there's a specific scenario you can link to, it's hard to actually know what you're talking about. Just to be clear *you* know the referenced incident, but that doesn't mean I immediately go "oh yes, I know..." - I'd need a bit of help on that one I'm afraid. I don't have an amazing memory anymore. Not sure I ever did tbh, and I may well have missed something.

The fifth column in Europe is seemingly scared. The Russian puppet party AfD in Germany just demanded that Germany leave NATO.
[...]"Europe has been forced to implement America's interests. We reject that," the AfD's Tino Chrupalla told German daily Welt.

"NATO is currently not a defense alliance. A defense community must accept and respect the interests of all European countries — including Russia's interests," Chrupalla said.[...]

"Russia has won this war. Reality has caught up with those who claim to want to enable Ukraine to win the war," he said.[...]

They are not the only German party demanding that, but they are by far the biggest.

depends, +1% is a very small percent
and is generally a cheaper alternative than being forced to learn Russian ;)

Russia has just increased its war budget to 30%.

Apparently Kremlin is floating the idea with people that NATO will not use nuclear weapons even if Russia will. And US will not claim any European country in this new world order. I need to verify this still

they are known in Russia. I think they visited Russia before the war, after which time fantasy scenarios about the new world order had surfaced in Kremlin. That Germany and Russia have a historical right to divide the Europe, one more time
