As usual, most of what you said is not true. Illegals must be deported. Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security are not ending. No one is denying anyone's right to exist. Sure, there are now laws to prevent some of the gender identity nonsense but that is hardly denying someone's right to exist.
As usual, you're out of touch with reality. Congress is right now trying to pass a budget that ends all of that. Hinting at violent reaction to things you don’t like is not going to help this situation.

We need to ask a serious question:
How did a Fraudster, cheat revealer of classified document and civilly convicted rapist become President!

And more importantly how did the left lose to such a person?

So what illness was RFK thinking about when he described autism? He said stuff like autists will never know love, play basketball, pay taxes or write a poem. All of that is so strange to me. Has RFK ever met an autist? There is nothing fundamentally stopping them from doing all those things. What the hell is he on about?

Then there is this
Trump Asks Justices to Curb Lower Courts’ Power

“President Donald Trump is asking the Supreme Court to eliminate a key tool that lower courts have used to block various aspects of his agenda,” Politico reports.

“In an emergency appeal Thursday, Trump asked the justices to rein in or shelve three nationwide injunctions lower-court judges have issued against his bid to end birthright citizenship. But his request could have repercussions far beyond the debate over the controversial citizenship plan.”
So lower courts don't matter, just another step to total dictatorship. Then again, Trump is ignoring the SC anyway, so why bother having courts full stop? And if Trump can bypass the courts, who else can? And if the SC decides that the lower courts still have powers, then the SC will be on Trump's hit list. Either way, this will have far reaching repercussion. Trump just wants all the power for himself. Sooner or later those corrupt judges sitting in the SC will soon realise, even their days are becoming numbered.

It looks like the the US debt will be increased by trillions even after gutting programs to give the 1% tax breaks. Based on charts this doesn't seem to have helped and has increased debt notably vs decreasing it.

China ship tariffs look like they are going ahead making trade with US more expensive and less likely.

Boeing planes cancelled by China?

US will stop some food inspections due to cuts. Meaning some foods in the US will be uninspected for some diseases and organisms.

Something that tickles me is how they're so anti "DEI" but haven't noticed that they're demanding "viewpoint diversity" [sic] at Harvard. Make your minds up, snowflakes!

I played basketball in high school. I've paid taxes and I've written a poem or two. I've been in love with the same person for thirty years (and, luckily, loved back). Definitely autistic.

I would blow his tiny little mind.

Trump and his cult of turds does not fix things; they remove them if they are inconvenient. Obviously, we need DEI, it just has to stop shaming women's bodies while pretending to be feminist, stop shaming sex, and stop the racial and social preferences. DEI cannot be about left or right, it has to be about everyone, or it does not work. Human rights are polarized in my country, and I am stuck with this idiot that no one wanted exploiting that.

I am glad that Harvard is standing up against Trump, I am still mad about how they treated their Jewish students, many who have quit out of fear for their safety. But I think that in the wake of Trumps fascist policies that Harvard is waking up to its own and making a stance against it.

Well I have to officially say I don't believe you.

There are plenty of articles pointing out how Trump is going after legal immigrants. We have green card holders and American citizens already detained by ICE. Small number, but significant since it's higher than zero. What's more significant, Trump claims it isn't a mistake.

There are plenty of news on what's being cut. Including the Some News video that I posted.
Or you can go with Times instead
https://time.com/7271888/social-securit ... -concerns/

Point being, we know it is happening. One either has to be for it or against it.

To claim it isn't, is ridiculous, and doesn't inspire much confidence in the conversation.

@Observe, you deny then that a man was sent to El Salvador prison? And Trump lifted a middle finger both to the courts and the family for helping to try and secure his release? Do you deny that a couple was in a car when ICE agents broke the window of the car and dragged them out, even though I posted a video of that? All because ICe deportation rates haven't been hitting Trump's quoters. So now ICE has been targeting pretty nearly anyone.

Do you also deny that two lawyers and a doctor has been sent emails tell them to self deport?

This is happening, whether you agree to it, or like it or not. On top of the other stuff that is happening. Sorry observe, But you are out of touch with reality.

Supreme Court Blocks Alien Enemies Act Deportations

“The U.S. Supreme Court ordered the Trump administration early Saturday to temporarily halt the deportations of at least 30 alleged Venezuelan gang members who immigration advocates say were at imminent risk of being removed from the country,” the Washington Post reports.

Wall Street Journal: “The order came early Saturday after lawyers for the migrants asked the justices to step in on an emergency basis to halt their deportations as reports came that immigration officials began loading the detainees onto buses for deportation under the Alien Enemies Act.”

“Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito dissented from the order.”
And will the Trump admin respect that order? Fat chance.

And then there is
U.S. Citizen Held by ICE Despite Proof of Citizenship

“A U.S. citizen was arrested in Florida for allegedly being in the country illegally and held for pickup by immigration authorities even after his mother showed a judge her son’s birth certificate and the judge dismissed charges,” the AP reports.

“The charge of illegal entry into Florida was dropped Thursday after his mother showed the judge his state identification card, birth certificate and Social Security card.”
This is happening Observe, people are getting detained for no reason. start to realise, that the country you in is breaking down, and all because of the man who you and many others voted into office again. How much more do you need before you realise the truth?

was ICE disciplined for this one in any way? nope

https://apnews.com/article/us-citizen-h ... 39dfedfc6c
“No one should be arrested under that law, let alone a U.S. citizen,” said Alana Greer, an immigration attorney from the Florida Immigrant Coalition. “They saw this person, he didn’t speak English particularly well, and so they arrested him and charged him with this law that no one (should) be charged with.”
They held him for 48 hours extra after he was arrested.

Aside from arresting a US citizen, not able to speak English in US is by the way, not an actual crime.

Probably thanks to the (non MAGA) media attention is that he isn't in El Salvador now

And these are the ones we know about. This will only get worse, either people start to stand up for their rights, or will the courts prevail? But I kinda think that might not happen, even though they have ruled against Trump. But how many more people will be arrested illegally? Its truly shocking to the core.

Think positive. The dictatorial censorship is not yet complete; that these "fake misinformation" can still spread. :|
Or does Trump have different take on media control -- rather than ban unwanted news, he simply does not care about them?

Trump has been trying to restict access to the Whitehouse press room of some media organisations, and has hit out on some networks as well, saying that what they have been saying and doing is illegal. So Trump has been trying to control the press. At east in that regard.

As the John Oliver clip pointed out - the Govt could just ignore because there's nothing the Supreme Court can actually do about it; contempt of court against...?

He already did this. Favourable media policy. He's also signed orders targeting individuals and news organizations to be investigated thoroughly and fined to the maximum.

When you say fake photos, do you mean the addition of the MS13 letters? Or the staging of photos when the senator met him in what appeared to be very relaxed/nice surroundings contrasting to what his actual treatment is really going to be like.

It really is reaching 1984 levels of misinformation if there's so much effort around trying to taint/control/influence public opinion (against the guy) that they're actually doctoring images and setting up scenarios to paint a wholly different image. And to put emphasis upon it, that's the *government* doing it, hence the 1984 reference.

So weird that they're expending so much effort, is it yet more misdirection "while everyone looks in this direction..." or is it really just that important to not "lose" in this one, wrong, instance.

I don't deny that horrible, illegal things are going on within the Trump Administration. They are. It is stomach curdling to see (and feel) the rampant terror that is running wild through much of our population. Fear around Social Security, Medicare, innocent people being rounded up and sent to Dante's Inferno in El Salvador and the rest, is horrendous. You won't find me agreeing with this kind of heavy-handed, uncompassionate treatment. I look upon all this with the same dismay that I read from others in this forum.

It is known that I voted against Biden/Harris this time around, after opposing Trump the first time. There is no point regurgitating the reasons why. Suffice to say, I am not happy with how things are going. Only that I personally think things would have been worse, for different reasons, had Harris won.

Am I out of touch with reality, as matthewfarmery said? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Reality is a tricky thing. Nevertheless, I am not blind to what is going on, and I take no relish from it.

I could say that I don't care what people here think of me, except that's not entirely true. I do care that what you think of me, somewhat reflects the reality of what I actually am. I suspect this is not always the case.

Pentagon Is In ‘Total Chaos’

“The Pentagon is in ‘total chaos’ and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is unlikely to remain in his role, according to its former top spokesperson, who painted a scene of dysfunction, backstabbing and continuous missteps at the highest levels of the department,” Politico reports.

Said John Ullyot: “The building is in disarray under Hegseth’s leadership. The dysfunction is now a major distraction for the president — who deserves better from his senior leadership.”

Considering Trump wanted him there, and well, want a clown to run the place, I'm not surprised. He was totally unfit for the job, and I would say that those that voted for him are equally to blame. So the next question will be, who will his successor will be? and how much of a clown act will they become? Trump is a clown, his picks are clowns. There aren't anything better for a clown president, until the president steps aside.
