Possible Detailed Xenon Ship Scan Mission Bug

I'm trying to complete the mission titled: "Detailed Xenon Scan" under Argon vs. Xenon, Intelligence. Here is the missionj briefing:
"
In the past, we have managed to pertform detailed scans on a number of Xenon. To progress in our research, we require a follow up scan on a specific Xenon to better understand their development over time.
Target reveal percentage: Target scan percentage: 98%
Objectives
1: Fly to: XEN Raiding Party PE
Faction: Argon Federation
Oppposing Faction: Xenon
Reward 560,980 Cr + High Energy Catalyst
Difficult: Medium

I found a Xenon PE and scanned it to 100%, but the mission wasn't completed. I know the missions mentions a "specific" PE, but the mission leads me no where.

The devs would need an open sharing link to a vanilla save showing the issue if you want them to investigate.
