Can't say I'm happy about Poland paroting this old bragging behaviour of "showing military might". To me, this is a relict of the past AND paroting countries who think this is needed (North Korea, Russia...) is anything but "cool" (in my eyes it is more like: embarassing).
It's not only countries with questionable renown that do military parades.
E.g. France, South Korea, Batlics and Romania are doing those as well.
Japan is doing one as well recently, albeit this one might still raise an eyebrow here and there.
Note that all above countries have...raised awerness about Russia.
You might be right that military parades were thing of the past...untill past try to break into present time

Especially in case of Poland, we didn't need military parades for decades...untill 2008 when Russia invaded Georgia.
Since then we organized them every year, bar one peak COVID year.
