Oh, that's a good point. I knew there was something that slipped my mind.Esgaro wrote:The ATF start is definitely pretty neat looking. The ATF sector might not be the best starting location though. You don't start with asteroid belt access, so as soon as you fly to the east everything goes hostile.
Paul Wheeler, ATF Veteran, had better damn well stay in that sector if he knows what's good for him.

I'll hotfix it sometime tonight.
It seems to be a quirk with ATF escorts. There are some in ATF Forseti that do the same (Valkyries, I think they were).Kadatherion wrote:Also, in The Moon, I noticed this wing of ATF fighters without racial specification. They aren't unmanned (wrecked or bailed) ships though, they are correctly flown by terran pilots, and homebased to the Valhallha it seems.
Basically, it looks like the "ATF..." part has to be manually set, as it seems that it won't automatically pick it up like all the other races do (all the M1 and M7C fighters pull from the same fighter pool jobs in XRM Jobs).
To fix it, I'd have to add dedicated fighter-escort jobs to the Jobs file... and as it's only a cosmetic quirk, I think for now I'm just going to leave it.
The key words were "tried to". You can't really balance against people trying to beat the system for the sake of proving a point.Yacek wrote:This is just an example, and there are more. So how is the balance?

I dub thee "Red Mage".
